Similar toGenshin Impact’s artifacts,Honkai: Star Railrelics provide different types of bonus effects when equipped by characters. Similar to most similar items, Relic Sets can have different rarities, with 5-star relics being usually the most powerful ones and the hardest to obtain.
With the game constantly adding new characters to the roster, fans have been complaining about the number of Relics they can have in their inventory. Luckily, anew leakshared on theHonkai: Star RailLeaks subreddit has revealed that Trailblazers will have the option to carry up to 2000 Relics in their inventory instead of the current 1500. This adjustment will go live with the release of the upcomingHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.1. Many comments claim that despite being very careful with which Relics they are keeping, they have already come close to the 1500 limit and this change will come at the perfect time.
Honkai: Star Railhas two different types of relic sets,Cavern Relics and Planar Ornaments, both of which offer different types of effects. Players can equip up to four Cavern Relics, which can be placed in different slots: Head, Hands, Body, and Feet. These Relics function similarly to Genshin’s artifacts as they provide additional 2-piece and 4-piece bonus effects. Planar Ornament can be placed in the Planar Sphere and the Link Rope slots, and they can have 2-piece effects that are usually tied to providing elemental damage buffs.
New Characters in Honkai: Star Rail 2.1
This Relic change won’t be the only novelty in the upcomingHonkai: Star Railupdate 2.1 as three new characters are expected to join the roster: Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher. The first two are expected to be five-star characters, while Gallagher will have a lower four-star rarity.Acheron is a new Nihility character, which indicates that she could be a decent pick for the support role since her kit is stacked with debuff effects.
Aventurine will be an Imaginary characterwho follows the Path of Preservation. His kit scales off Defense, and he can provide powerful shields for the entire team composition. Besides her supportive abilities, Aventurine can also dish out decent Imaginary damage numbers.
