Honkai: Star Railhas fans at the edge of their seats with the Penacony story thanks to its intriguing mysteries and plot twists. While many are still processing what happened inHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.2’s story, some are already keeping their eyes peeled for Version 2.3 leaks.
Just like previous updates,Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.3 leaks include sneak peeks of new characters, events, and other features that fans can expect. Note that HoYoverse hasn’t confirmed any of the leaks, and that it will officially reveal everything in the Version 2.3 Special Program stream later this month or around June. So, it’s still possible for the initial leaks to change once the nextHonkai: Star Railupdate launches.
What to Expect in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3
Banner Characters' Skills
Honkai: Star Railpreviously revealed that Firefly and Jade will be the 5-star banner characters for Version 2.3. Both characters have made appearances in the Penacony story, but only Firefly has interacted with the Trailblazer so far.
Jade
Quantum,Path of Erudition
Firefly, also known as Sam the Stellaron Hunter, was first introduced as a stowaway who infiltrates Penacony’s Dreamscape through unconventional means. She wears a Strategic Assault Mech (S.A.M) because she suffers from Entropy Loss Syndrome due to genetic modification. As a playable Destruction character,Firefly is able to switch between her human and mech forms, giving her stat buffs to deal significant damage to enemies.
Jade is a senior manager from the IPC Strategic Department and is one of the Ten Stonehearts along with Aventurine and Topaz. InHonkai: Star Rail’s story so far, she’s only popped up during flashbacks and phone calls with Aventurine.Jade is an Erudition unit, meaning she can deal AoE Quantum damage to multiple enemies. She also has a follow-up attack and her Skill can increase allies' SPD.
There are no leaked character reruns forHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.3 yet.
Relics and Planar Ornaments
Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.3 will reportedly introduce new Relic sets, namely “Iron Cavalry Against Scourge” and “The Wind-Soaring Valorous.” It will also debut new Planar Ornaments, “Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern” and “Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves,” which means that Simulated Universe World 10 might come out in this update. Both Relic and Planar Ornament sets seem to complement Firefly and Jade’s abilities as they boost Break Effect and follow-up attacks.
Light Cones
To complete characters' builds,Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.3 is rumored to release new Light Cones. Usually, these Light Cones complement the upcoming banner characters, but so far, the rumored items are only for Erudition characters. “Yet Hope Is Priceless,” in particular, could be the 5-star banner Light Cone for Jade.
Limited-Time Events
As HoYoverse prepares for the next major adventure after Penacony, it’s said to be lining up a number oflimited-time events forHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.3. This will be the perfect opportunity for fans to farm Stellar Jades and other materials for their characters, especially if they’re pulling for Firefly and/or Jade.
Leaks revealed various events with different mechanics, such as the combat-based events “Divergent Universe: Human Comedy” and “Nether Puppet,” whereHonkai: Star Railfans play the new Apocalyptic Shadow modeand gain a free Xueyi. Probably the most exciting event in Version 2.3 will be “Origami Bird Clash,” a match-3 PvP puzzle mode. Lastly, Sterllar Shimmer is still a mystery, but it’s said to reward players with upgrade materials.
