Sabotage Supply Bases missions inHelldivers 2task players with destroying Automaton supply bases, including fuel silos and stockpiled ammunition. While it is not particularly difficult to destroy those objects, the way that it is done may not be immediately obvious. Indeed, some players may be confused about how to go about destroying fuel reserves and stockpiled ammunition inHelldivers 2, and this guide is here to alleviate that confusion.
Destroy Fuel Reserves and Destroy Stockpiled Ammunition are main objectives in Sabotage Supply Bases missions. This means that the locations to whichHelldivers 2playersmust travel for the tasks are automatically marked on the in-game map with orange icons, and fans should navigate to the correct positions before delving further into this guide.
Helldivers 2: How to Destroy Fuel Silos
After arriving at the location of a Destroy Fuel Reserves objective, players should position themselvesnear to the large cylindrical silosthat are in the area and call down theHellbomb Stratagem. For full clarity, this is amission-specific Stratagemthat will become available when the player is near to an object that can be destroyed, and they shouldinteract with the Hellbombto activate it when it lands. Once the activation has been performed,co-op shooterfans should move very far away, as the radius of a Hellbomb’s explosion is quite large, and wait for the Stratagem to destroy the objects of interest and complete the associated objective.
Helldivers 2: How to Destroy Stockpiled Ammunition
This objective is addressed in almost exactly the same way as the Destroy Fuel Reserves objective, though players are looking forstacks of explosive shellsthis time around. Such a stack can be seen in the image that is above, and theHellbomb Stratagemwill become available when the player gets close to it. Once again,third-person shooterfans must simply call down the Stratagem, interact with it to arm the explosive, and quickly move away to avoid dying unnecessarily to the Hellbomb’s immense blast.
To note, players may occasionally encounter an optional Automaton objective that instructs them to destroy an entirely different type of object. While those objectives are occasionally addressed with standard grenades, fans oflive-service gamesmust use Hellbombs in certain instances. As such, if a player encounters a Destroy objective that they are unable to complete, they should check their Stratagems to see if they are able to deploy one of those high-power explosives.
