YouTuber CoreyLaddo has recently revealed a brand-new trailer for his “Levitation"Half-Life: Alyxmod. Unlike otherHalf-Life: Alyxmods that change the game mechanically, such as one mod that allows players to enjoy the game without VR, “Levitation” is focused primarily on creating a new story within theHalf-Lifeuniverse. The trailer shows off a lot of action with narration provided by G-Man, one ofHalf-Life’smost famous and mysterious characters.
The trailer also shows off some impressive new environments forHalf-Life: Alyx, though it doesn’t seem to give players new enemies to fight. Things like new enemy models could be brought in later, as the “Levitation” mod is currently looking towards a Q3 2022 release date. As with most mods, thisHalf-Life: Alyxadaptation will be free to all owners of the game, giving them an extra 4-5 hours of content to sink their teeth into.
Hopefully, fans will see more huge and expansive mods like “Levitation” in the future forHalf-Life: Alyx. Previously, modders may have had to pay ahuge license fee in order to mod Valve titles, though now it seems that Valve has gotten rid of these restrictions. This allows fans to mod Valve titles such asTeam Fortress 2, Half-Life 2,and of course,Half-Life: Alyxmore freely, meaning that players can giveHalf-Life: AlyxaJurassic Worldcrossover if they so wish.
