Hades 2has been released as early access for fans to try out and experience what the game is going to be like, and it has certainly proven itself to be extremely popular among fans already.
Throughout the game, Melinoë will be met by Gods who will offer her their boons to power her up. However, some offer some boons that are far better than others.
C Tier
In C Tier, the boons offered by these Gods are not bad by any means, however, compared to what others can provide, these are definitely not the best in the game.
Artemis
Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, is a returning Goddess from the first Hades game. She is a character that will randomly appear sometimes to fight with Melinoë. Her signature curse in Hades is “Marked.” Her boons, in general, typically slightly increase the odds of landing a critical hit.

Chaos
This character is unlike others when it comes to the boons they offer. Firstly, the player has to jump into Chaos gates to meet them, which will require the player to lose some Health Points. Then, their boons aren’t an instant power-up like other gods'. Chaos’s boons have drawbacks in quite a few encounters, which can range from being slowed down significantly, or getting a Game Over if the next few encounters aren’t cleared within a certain time period. Chaos offers high-risk, high-reward boons.
A lot of Chaos’s boons are randomized, but they don’t tend to change much.

Hephaestus
This god of the forge’s status curse is known as Vent. In general, Hephaestus’s boons are meant to make the player more durable and to create blasts in the area. While he has some good boons to offer, their recharge time is quite long and might not be worth it.

B Tier
Gods in B Tier offer many great boons to Melinoë, and while it could be said they’re better than the Gods in the C Tier, there are still better options for the player overall.
Apollo
Apollo is the twin brother of Artemis and will aid Melinoë on her quest by granting her boons with the ability to inflict Daze as the God of light. Daze can basically make some enemies miss their attacks on Melinoë, which can save her a lot of Health Points. Some of his boons also make her attacks deal more damage in large areas, which shouldn’t be underestimated.

Hestia
Hestia is the goddess of the Hearth and Flame, and, as such, can help Melinoë by granting her boons that inflict Scorch. Scorch is a status curse that deals damage over time, which can be quite useful to chip at an enemy’s health points without additional attacks from the player. A fast weapon can make the scorch effect even better, so it is definitely recommended to pair it with Hestia’s boons.

Hera
Hera is the goddess of marriage and the queen of the Olympians. This goddess offers the player books that afflict Hitch. This interesting status curse makes enemies that are afflicted take damage even when the player is just attacking another afflicted enemy. This can be especially useful when fighting against large groups of enemies.

Zeus
Zeus, the most powerful god in Greek mythology, falls a bit short compared to other deities when it comes to the boons he offers. He is still great, nevertheless. The God of Thunder offers the player boons that will apply Lightning bolts to their attacks and omega moves.

A-Tier goddesses and gods offer some of the best boons in the game. Most of their boons are incredibly useful and will be a huge help to Melinoë during her tough encounters.
Selene
Selene is the Goddess of the Moon who makes her entrance in Hades 2. Selene’s case is quite unique, compared to the other Goddesses and Gods. Her boons can only be used after the player uses up a certain amount of Magick, depending on the boon picked. After the player picks a boon, they’ll only be able to upgrade it using the Path of Stars instead of getting a new boon. Her boons can either be very good, or average at best, so it is very much dependent on your luck when encountering Selene.

Hermes
Hermes, the God of Swiftness, is, like the name implies, a God that will grant Melinoë boons that improve her speed and agility. His boons can make it easier for Melinoë to dodge attacks, and they also allow her to attack faster. He can also make her sprint faster, which can be quite useful in some boss fights. He can also, at the same time, slow down some enemy attacks.

Aphrodite
Aphrodite is a returning Goddess inHades 2.The Goddess of Love offers some interesting boons that inflict the status curse Weak. This can increase how much damage is dealt to nearby enemies. Some of her boons also have to do with the amount of health points the player can gain.

S Tier
S Tier Gods are almost unmatched as their boons are almost a necessity to ensure the game goes smoothly. In general, their boons are all great and they have the best status curse to offer.
Poseidon
Poseidon, the God of the Sea, is a character that is making a comeback in Hades 2 from the first game. He certainly has some very powerful boons to offer to Melinoë. The power of his boons focuses on pushing enemies away by creating wave splashes. Some of his boons are also amazing for gold farming, as well as other minor finds, in case the player is running short and needs more.

Demeter
Yet another character fans are familiar with from the first Hades game,Demeter is the goddess of seasons and has boons that focus mainly on inflicting freezeon enemies, as well as creating cyclones that can halt enemy projectiles. Her freezing ability shouldn’t be underestimated, as it is the perfect counter for armored enemies. It will stop them in their tracks for a few seconds. This is enough in most cases for the player to break their armor and finish them off. Overall, she has quite a lot to offer. One of her boons even allows the player to quickly recover Magick by simply standing for one second.
