7Stereo Madness

The Simple Nature Of Stereo Madness Makes It So Much Fun To Replay

Stereo Madness is the very first track in the entire game, and while the difficulty meter implies that it’s going to be an easy ride, the level still throws in a few sneaky obstacles that can trip even the most experienced players up from time to time. The level has a very steady pace, starting off with a few simple blocks before eventually leaving much wider gaps between them to force the player to be more precise with their jumps.

Then there’sthe flying minigame, which can be a little difficult to control at first, but there’s no denying just how downright fun it is to play around with. There are even a few triple spikes that begin showing up near the end of the level, which can be extremely difficult to overcome, making the ending pretty challenging but also very rewarding once it’s been completed.

6Jumper

The Upside-Down Sections Of Jumper Can Be Pretty Tricky To Master

Rather than maintaining a steady pace and gradually getting harder like with Stereo Madness, Jumper instead spikes up the difficulty after just a few blocks, resulting ina thrill ride of a levelthat rarely pulls its punches. There are still a few moments in between that grant players a bit of time to catch their breath, but these are very few and far between, which keeps the intensity high at all times.

Jumper is a level that loves playing around with the upside-down mechanic, with half of the level being completely flipped around to make even the most simple of jumps feel a lot more nerve-racking. The way the track seamlessly flows into its flipped and regular state is also extremely quick and responsive, ensuring there are never any hiccups where the player’s cube could die unexpectedly from a glitch.

5Can’t Let Go

Can’t Let Go Is A Fast-Paced Thrill-Ride From Beginning To End

Can’t Let Go is one of the very first stages in the game that players will encounter, and despite beingincredibly fast-paced, it still maintains a fairly steady challenge throughout, which makes it ideal for learning the game at a higher level. A lot of people credit Can’t Let Go for being the stage that helped them improve at the game, and that’s because it never feels like it needlessly throws a challenge the player’s way.

Instead, the floating platforms and boost jumps are all purposefully placed far enough from the edge of the screen so that players can react to them in time, allowing them to easily learn the level, and ready them for the rest of the game. There’s also a pitch-black section of the level which completely changes around the aesthetic of the stage while also acting as a final challenge to the player to see if they’re fully prepared to finish the stage and progress with the game.

4Deadlocked

Deadlocked Has One Of The Most Creative And Unique Designs In The Game

Deadlocked is mostly recognized for its challenging layout and gameplay, but what has also made it incredibly memorable to a lot of players is the extremely unique industrial design which features multiple gears and cogs spinning throughout the track, alongside a few metallic structures and evendeadly robot machines. It’s a real feast for the eyes, to the point where it’s easy to get completely sidetracked and lose focus because of how gorgeous and richly detailed it is.

The floating portals already make the level tricky enough, but where the difficulty really ramps up is during the diagonal section where the player’s cube will turn into a small arrow that is only capable of traveling in diagonal directions. Considering how lightning-fast the arrow is, it can take a lot of practice to get this lengthy area down, but learning it is extremely enjoyable thanks to how fluid and unique the movement feels.

3X Step

X Step Is Jam Packed Full Of Quirky Mini-Games And Gimmicks

X Step packs virtually every gimmick imaginable into its track, making it very unexpected, but also a ton of fun to jump into. Not only does it have reverse portals, but the stage also features a handful of ball portals which will transform the cube into a circle, making it a lot lighter and faster as a result.

There’s also a floating portal that completely changes how jumping works, making the whole stage feel as if it’s set in space with no gravity. It’s definitely a tricky level to complete, but the sheer variety of challenges paired with thevibrant and colorful visual stylestill make X Step a real standout from the game, and a true test of the player’s platforming abilities.

2Clubstep

Clubstep’s Brutal Difficulty Is Perfectly Complimented By Its Flashy Club Aesthetic

When it comes to visual flare and style, Clubstep is undoubtedly one of the most eye-catching levels in the entire game, especially with its multicolored backgrounds which are constantly changing, and the glistening shining stars that are scattered throughout the stage. All of these small details come together to create a club-like aesthetic where the player must race their way through a multitude of obstacles and difficult challenges whilea heavy basslinekeeps them energized throughout it all.

The flashing stars are the primary gimmick used in Clubstep, and while they’re essentially nothing more than flashy boosters that can grant the cube an extra jump, they’re often purposefully placed in difficult areas, which makes them a little risky to use. A single wrong jump on one of these things can easily send a cube flying into a row of spikes, but it’s this kind of unpredictability that makes Clubstep so fun to replay, and extremely satisfying to master.

1Hexagon Force

Hexagon Force Introduces A Few Weird And Unique Challenges That Make It A Blast To Play Through

The main reason Hexagon Force is such a beloved track among fans is because of how perfectly it manages to handle its difficulty. The level starts off fairly straightforward with only a few tricky segments here and there to keep the player on their toes, but as soon as it reaches the very narrow flying section, the stageconsiderably increases the difficultyin a final ditch attempt to stop the player from reaching the end.

There are also quite a few unique areas in the level that aren’t really seen in the other stages, such as the diagonal blocks which completely change how the player jumps and their general flow of movement. This isn’t even mentioning the Dual Portal which actually splits the cube in two pieces, forcing players to remain focused on all sides of the screen to make it out in one piece. Hexagon Force is a level that can be replayed over and over again without ever getting boring or bland thanks to its unique challenges and excellent pacing.
