In theGenshin ImpactChasm, Dark Mud will soon be a common sight for Travelers. It’s not yet clear what causes this goo to emerge, but it’s no surprise considering howThe Chasm has prominent differences from the rest of Liyue.

The legend says that The Chasm was formed a few thousand years ago, where a meteorite fell upon the land. However,as the Archon War continued, the amount of bitterness was strong enough to cause the meteorite to leap back to its origin. The area it once resided in is now left with a giant hole known only as the Chasm. It’s highly likely that this event causes the area to have a distinctive geological condition. This includes special fungi plantation, mushroom-like creatures, and of course, the Dark Mud.
