Wenut is a desert creature released inGenshin Impact3.4. While exploring the area, players will sometimes get attacked by an underground creature and take some Physical damage. The damage itself isn’t significant, but persistently getting pestered by the creature can get annoying really fast.
There’s also a boss version of Wenut called the Setekh Wenut. This creature can be found in the Wenut Tunnel, and like other world bosses, players have to farm the enemy for certain characters’ Ascension, as it drops the Pseudo-Stamens unique boss item. This boss can actually be handled easily, and its hits are far from deadly, but it’s hard to land hits on the Setekh Wenut since it submerges underground in most of the fights. This means players need to manage their skills properly, if not use brute force overall. How To Reach Setekh Wenut Location In Genshin Impact
Fortunately, reaching Setekh Wenut’slocation inGenshin Impactis a simple task. There are multiple roads players can take within the Wenut Tunnel, but the easiest route would bevia the Teleport Waypoint south of the Setekh Wenut marker. After teleporting, there will be a hole in front of the players. Walk to the hole and glide down to see a large sand arena with a green circle on the bottom. Approach the circle and the Setekh Wenut will reveal itself.

After fighting for a while, the Setekh Wenut will “stand up” and summon someWindbite Bullets(green Anemo circles).Destroy two of these Windbite Bullets using Elements that react with Anemo(Cryo, Pyro, Electro, and Hydro). Once two Bullets are destroyed, the Setekh Wenut will fall, allowing players to freely deal damage on it.TheGenshin Impactboss’s RESto the corresponding Element will also be reduced by 45%.
The Windbite Bullets have to be destroyed quickly as the boss will unleash its ultimate move with the Bullets if players are too slow.
Since the Windbite Bullets are far above,players have to use abilities that have a large range or rely on a bow character.A bow wielder inGenshin Impactcan deal Elemental DMG through their Charged Attack, so unleashing two Charged Attacks in quick succession can do the trick.

The easiest method to beat the Setekh Wenut in the Spiral Abyss for F2P players is by using a Hyperbloom team. A completely F2P team would consist of Xingqiu + Kuki Shinobu + Yaoyao + Dendro MC, but it’s better to use Nahida instead of Yaoyao since the Dendro Archon offers easier access to Dendro. This Hyperbloom team fully relies on Kuki’s Skill to trigger the reaction, so it’s crucial to build the ex-Shrine Maiden on a full Elemental Mastery build. Another important point to remember is that players musttime their Skills to perfectionso that they can hit the boss when it emerges, meaning each character must use their skillbeforethe boss becomes vulnerable to attacks.
