AGenshin Impactfan has created a mod that combines one of the two main characters with Nilou’s outfit. At the start of each playthrough, players are required to choose between Aether and Lumine to become their main characters. Whichever character is chosen, the Traveler’s main quest will be the find their long-lost sibling.
Nilou was one of the three new characters that arrived duringGenshin Impactversion 3.1 alongside Cyno and Candace. She’s known as the star of the famous Zubayr Theatre located in the recently released Sumeru region. Players had the option to dive deeper into Nilou’s character during her official Story Quest that arrived in the same update.

A new post on theGenshin Impactsubreddit shows Lumine equipped with Nilou’s traditional outfit. The video shared by Reddit user H4xolotl has gathered a lot of attention on the game’s official subreddit with many fans claiming that HoYoverse should definitely addskins forGenshin Impact’s two main characters. Even though the official storyline revolves around Aether and Lumine, the sibling duo is not as popular on the battlefield since, even though they are categorized as five-star characters, they are on par with most of the game’s four-star units. The Traveler’s main asset is probably the fact that they can be equipped with four different elemental powers: Anemo, Geo, Electro, and Dendro.
Out of the four different versions of the main character, the Dendro Traveler is probably the most viable one, especially since there are not asmany Dendro characters in the game. Some comments have pointed out that HoYoverse should introduce a traditional outfit for Aether and Lumine whenever a new major region gets introduced to the game. This would make the game much more immersive considering that each region in the game is based on a real-life location and culture.
Players who want to add the Hydro user Nilou to their team won’t have to wait for a long time since recent leaks revealed that she will receive her first re-run in theupcomingGenshin Impactupdate 3.6. Nilou is a very niche character whose kit relies on triggering one specific elemental reaction named Bloom.
Nilou will apparently arrive on the first banner cycle of the upcoming update alongside another Sumeru character, the Dendro Archon Nahida, also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali. Many fans predict that this banner couldbreakGenshin Impact’s overall revenue record, especially if HoYoverse decides to also include the new four-star character Kaveh.
