Genshin Impactplayers seem very satisfied with the upcoming weapon banner that will arrive in the second part of the ongoing update 3.4. Weapon banners allow players to acquire a set of limited items for 3-4 four weeks by spending Intertwined Fates. Each of these banners includes two five-star and five four-star weapons, one for each weapon type in the game.
UnlikeGenshin Impact’s playable characters, the weapons can have five different rarity ranks with five-star weapons being the most powerful items in the game. HoYoverse usually reveals the Weapon Banner a couple of days before it officially arrives, however, 3.4 was an exception as the items for both banner cycles were revealed at the end of the previous update.

The two five-star items that appear on a banner almost always serve as the signature weapons for the five-star characters that are featured on the Limited Character Banner. Developer HoYoverse already confirmed that two very strong characters, Hu Tao and Yelan, will arrive in the second part ofGenshin Impactupdate 3.4. Reddit user TimocaSamJa claims that the upcoming Weapon Banner might include the best set of weapons the game has ever seen, and many players seem to agree as the post reached over 4k upvotes on the officialGenshin Impactsubreddit.
Multiple comments claim that this is by far the best combination of limited five-star and four-star weapons that were featured within a single banner cycle. The Staff of Homa is probably one of the best polearms in the game as it offers tons of HP, Attack, and Crit Damage. All of these stats make it the go-to weapon for theupcoming Pyro DPS character Hu Taowho will be one of the featured limited five-star characters.
Despite being one of themost popular characters inGenshin Impact, Hu Tao has not received a re-run since November 2021, and she currently holds the record for missing the highest number of consecutive banners. The second five-star weapon, Aqua Simulacra, can be used by almost every bow user in the game as it provides tons of useful stats.
The fact that asignificant part of Yelan’s kit scales with HPmakes this weapon a must-have for players that want the Hydro user to fill the main DPS role in their team comp. Even though Yelan is able to dish out tons of damage, her best role is probably sub-DPS thanks to her strong off-field presence.
