InGenshin Impact,a new region to explore comes with new commissions from the Adventurers' Guild, as well as a new reputation system to level up in. However, in Sumeru, the land of Dendro, both of these mechanics are not immediately unlocked when the Traveler arrives. To unlock them, there are a few steps that must be completed first.

It’s important to note that every region’s Daily Commissions are locked behind Adventure Rank 12. Additionally, each Reputation system, regardless of region, is locked behind Adventure Rank 25.
How to Unlock Daily Commissions in Sumeru
While the Adventurers' Guild is accessible immediately upon entry to Sumeru, the ability to take on Daily Commissions for this branch is not. Players may visit this branch to cash in their Daily Commissions completed in other regions and send characters out on Sumeru Expeditions, but that’s all to start.
To unlock Daily Commissions in Sumeru, players must complete Chapter 3, Act 2: The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings. This quest is, of course, part of the overall Archon Quest series in Sumeru, which can only be unlocked at Adventure Rank 35.
Following the completion of Chapter 3, Act 2, players must then wait for thenext daily server reset. After opening the game following the reset, they’ll have a new quest in their log titled"Adventure Takes Courage!“This quest is very straightforward: simply speak with Katheryne at the Sumeru branch of the Adventurers' Guild. Sumeru Daily Commissions will now be unlocked!
How to Change Daily Commission Location
In the Adventurer Handbook, players can actually select which region’s Daily Commissions they’d like to take on. Additionally, they can leave it set to “random” for a bit of variety.
However, those looking to explore the new region, Sumeru, will probably want to set their’s as such. This is simple. Just navigate to theAdventurer Handbook menu, then go down to the second tab titled “Commissions,” and select the region dropdown in the top right. Set it to Sumeru, and Daily Commissions will (mostly) only appear in Sumeru following the next daily server reset.
How to Unlock the Sumeru Reputation System
In addition to Daily Commissions for the Adventurers' Guild, players can also work toward becoming a local hero in Sumeru via the Reputation system. Each region has this mechanic, and it revolves around earning the respect of the locals and, in turn, cashing it in for rewards and bonuses.
Sumeru’s Reputation system will lead to new cooking recipes, the Dendroculus Resonance Stone diagram, the instructions for making a Dendro Treasure Compass, local discounts, a new Wind Glider, and more.
To start earning the respect and Reputation of a local hero, players must finish the same quest as listed above: Chapter 3, Act 2: The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings. Immediately following the completion of this quest, players will receive a new one titled Corps of Thirty Recruitment.Unlike the quest that opens up Daily Commissions, this one will appear right away and does not require a daily server reset.
Completing this quest is just as easy, though. Simply head over to theCitadel of Regzar and speak with Effendi, who is standing next to the Reputation board. After the conversation, the Reputation system will be activated in Sumeru, and the player will even already have some points to claim. From there, completing quests and exploring will earn more points, and at Reputation Level 2, Bounties and Requests can be completed as well.
