Developer miHoYo releasedGenshin Impactin 2020, and its community remains enthusiastically invested in the action RPG today. Recently, oneGenshin Impactfan decided to create a cutscene celebrating the conclusion of the Irodori Festival to show how miHoYo may add similar moments to make questlines and events feel even more rewarding.
Reddit user Genshashin recently posted a shortGenshin Impactvideo, which they hail as an unofficial cutscene for the end of theIrodori Festival.Genshin Impact’s Irodori Festival is also known as the Hues of the Violet Garden, and it includes new tasks that will rewardGenshin Impactplayers with unique rewards. Just like otherGenshin Impactquestlines, the Irodori Festival features interesting plot points that tie into Genshashin’s Irodori Festival cutscene.

Genshashin’sGenshin Impactcutscene begins withPyro character Thomarunning along a main road past several colorful flags and several NPCs in Inazuma City. Thoma then meets up with Kamisato Ayato and Ayaka, and the trio eats lunch before the cutscene moves to Sangonomiya Kokomi and Yae Miko visiting Xingqui at a book signing. The cutscene then returns to Thoma at the same food booth with Arataki Itto and Tartaglia running up to him before transitioning to another restaurant with moreGenshin Impactcharacters
Along with several other playableGenshin Impactcharacters shown during Genshashin’s cutscene, the ninja dog Kageroumaru spars with Traveler in front of Gorou and Kaedehara Kazuha. Klee and Yoimiya both shoot fireworks from their hands in the cutscene, while other characters stare at a tactical map on a wooden table. Meanwhile, the sun sets, and Kamisato Ayaka closely observes some seasonal vegetation. All theGenshin Impactcharacters come together at the end of the cutscene for a photo-op at theInazuma Citybear standee.
OtherGenshin Impactevents and questlines such as theWindblume Festival, Firmiana Leaf Falls, and Spiral Abyss have received cutscenes, but the Irodori Festival is one that remains ignored in this regard. The Irodori Festival isn’t the first event to miss out in the cutscene department as other festival participants have also hinted at being underwhelmed by the lack of ending cutscenes. Genshashin has stated that some art assets included in theirGenshin Impactcutscene were customized by them, which adds to the production value, notably the Albedo drawing that introduces the video.
Genshin Impactis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is currently in development with no confirmed release date.
