HoYoverse revealed new details about several Genius Invokation TCG cards arriving withGenshin Impactversion 3.6 on April 12. Once version 3.6 is available,Genshin Impactplayers will be able to visit the Cat’s Tail and challenge certain characters to obtain these new Genius Invokation TCG cards.While taking a break from exploration in Teyvat,Genshin Impactplayers may test their knowledge of combat and the elements by playing the Genius Invokation TCG mini-game. In Genius Invokation TCG, players may duel NPCs or each other with cards depicting beloved characters from the playable roster. Support and equipment cards may bolster a player’s Genius Invokation TCG deck, allowing them to use special abilities and deal extra damage during a duel. This past March, version 3.6 leaks suggested multiple fan-favorite characters from Inazuma and Sumeru would receive their ownGenius Invokation TCG cards. Ayato, Itto, and Tighnari character cards utilize Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst Talents that their playable counterparts would normally use in combat. However, these Talents are retooled to comply with the rules of Genius Invokation TCG. For example, the Ayato character card’s Kamisato Art: Marobashi Normal Attack deals two damage after using one Hydro Elemental dice and two unaligned dice during a turn. The new Kyouka Fuushi, Arataki Ichiban, and Keen Sight Talent cards will be added with the 3.6 update, enhancing the power of the Ayato, Itto, and Tighnari cards respectively.
Alongside the new character and Talent cards, two new equipment cards will be available for Genius Invokation TCG inGenshin Impactversion 3.6. The new Grand Narukami Shrine support card may be activated after using two matching Elemental dice, allowing the player to generate one random Elemental die per round. Additionally, the Favonius Sword equipment card will be made available, allowing a sword-based character card to deal one extra point of damage and gain an additional point of energy. The Favonius Sword card requires three matching Elemental dice for use during a Genius Invokation TCG duel.
Since Genius Invokation TCG’s introduction in version 3.3, HoYoverse has kept its promise of providing new content and adjustments for the mini-game with each new update. These exciting new additions to Genius Invokation TCG will arrive in under a week’s time, and players can expect even more cards inGenshin Impactversion 3.7and 3.8.
Genshin Impact’sversion 3.6 update will introduceplayable characters Baizhu and Kaveh, a new Sumeru map expansion, and several new events. Players may also earn the new Genius Invokation TCG cards by participating in new duels and events during version 3.6.
