Lucas7Yoshi took to Twitter to let his followers know about the possibly future addition. Lucas7Yoshi claims that modding support is coming toFortnite, but does not know to what extent. However the leaker also claims that its “100% in the works.” If modding support does come toFortnite, it may give players even more freedom to change cosmetics and possibly more.

Another question that many may be asking is how mods would be regulated. If mods are only available on PC, some players may claim it could lead to a platform advantage. However, Epic Games may limit mods to certain game modes like creative or private matches, or limit mods to simple texture and skin changes like allowing player-createdFortniteweapon wraps.
Many titles have incredibly active modding communities who are constantly putting out new content. Games likeGrand Theft Auto 5andSkyrimhave tons of modsavailable. Mods can benefit any title, but typically work well with RPG and open-world adventure games that have deep customization options to start with.
