Not too long ago, quests related to this weapon were released, but due to an error, the weapon itself was never actually put back in the game. Thankfully, this time around, gamers will finally be able to mess around with this odd weapon again and try to see how many camouflaged players they can find hidden in the jungle biome.
How To Find a Flare Gun
The Flare Gun isn’t a difficult weapon to find at all. This item has a relatively low rarity, which means that it doesn’t deal that much damage, and gamers shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding it. It is a particularly useful weapon because it can be used to spot nearby enemies before they notice someone around.
To find the Flare Gun inFortniteplayers have to search regular chests, rare chests, and it can also be found as regular floor loot. Alternatively, gamers can activate the Tracker’s Armory Reality Augment to instantly receive a Flare Gun.
Players will most likely have to search for more than a Flare Gun per match if they’d like to use this multiple times; the ammo inside this gun is unique and cannot be found inside any loot container or ammo box. The Flare Gun has six flares inside it, and once they’ve all been used up, it becomes useless and must be replaced.
How To Mark Opponents With The Flare Gun
InFortnite, the Flare Gun can be used to damage players and structures.It fires a single flare at a time, and once it hits a barrier, it’ll explode, dealing damage to the surrounding area and starting a fire if there are flammable objects or terrain in the nearby area.
The Flare Gun can also be used as a recon item.The flare that it shoots will scan the area within a certain perimeter and start marking players that it comes across. Temporarily, opponents that it scans will have a red marker above their head and can be easily spotted - it works just likeBloodhound Reality Augment.To avoid being marked by the Flare Gun, players can cover themselves in mud.
