Like every newly released Season and Chapter inFortnite, there are new points-of-interests or POIs. These locations, which are usually named, on players' maps are very important to the gameplay inFortnite. Initially, players need to choose where to land after jumping out of the Battle Bus, and usually, players will choose one of the POIs.

InChapter 4 Season 2 ofFortnite,there are four brand-new named locations that players are able to land at on theFortniteisland. Mega City, Knotty Knots, Kenjutsu Crossing, and Steamy Springs are the new places. In order for a location inFortniteto be considered ‘good,’ they need to includelots of loot for players, NPCs,vending machines, utilities, and other great things like hiding spots or ziplines to higher ground.
7Mega City
Mega City is one of the newly named locations that was added to the battle royale island ofFortnite. Players were introduced to this location in the teasers and trailers forFortniteChapter 4 Season 2. Mega City is a large city built under the influence of futuristic Japan (Neo-Japan).
Mega City is arguably the best spot to land in Chapter 4 Season 2 because the city has more than enough chests to loot, enough ammo for the entire game, hiding spots, and even a vault that players can get into. Though many players may land here, the loot is excellent enough to take into the late game.
6Anvil Square
Anvil Square is one of the several named locations that remained on the island fromFortniteChapter 4 Season 2. This location was infamous during the last season due to the amount of conflict that arose within the town. Being close to The Citadel and close to the middle of the map made it a place of war, where players would constantly be in battle.
In Chapter 4 Season 2, not much has changed, as Anvil Square still finds itself in the midst of constant build-battles. Even so, Anvil Square is great with the amount of loot it offers, and since so many players tend to go there, the reward for eliminations is even better.
5Brutal Bastion
A little less than half of the map ofFortniteis covered in snow, and there resides one of the best spots to land in a battle royale match. Brutal Bastion stands in the middle of the snow-covered area onFortnite’smap. Many players usually land here, but understandably so as there are plenty of chests for players.
Not only that, but theHighcard boss will spawn herewith two allies. Players can take down the Highcard boss to gain the Mythic Highcard rifle and a vault keycard that allows them to open up the vault in Brutal Bastion.
4Steamy Springs
Steamy Springs is a newly named location that players can discover by landing southwest to the Mega City POI. Steamy Springs resembles a calm Japanese village with lots of Cherry Blossom trees around the spot.

There are a lot of chests for players to get into, but there are also a lot of Kinetic Blades at Steamy Springs for players who like to utilize the anime-esque katana. Unique to Steamy Springs is also a small hot springs spot that players can ‘bathe’ in and gain health that they may have lost.
3Shattered Slabs
Shattered Slabs is another location that is not necessarily new, but still stands to be one of the best POIs that players can run into on the newFortnitemap. Shattered Slabs is one of the larger sites that gives players access to lots of chests, vending machines, an Upgrade Station,and even a vault.
Since there is a vault at Shattered Slabs, the Highcard boss will spawn here and players can obtain the Mythic Havoc Suppressed Rifle as well asa Mythic Enhanced Havoc Pump Shotgun.If players are interested, Kinetic Ore also still remains at this spot. For newer players, Kinetic Ore has a unique feature that allows players to hit the ore, and then it will launch in the direction it was damaged. This can damage opponents or gives players an uncommon way to travel long distances.
2Kenjutsu Crossing
The latest named locations inFortniteChapter 4 Season 2 are great for players, beginners and veterans alike, to land at due to the number of weapons, heals, and utilities they provide. Kenjutsu Crossing is not an exception either, as players can obtain more than enough gear here to get them through a match.
The Japan-themed Kenjutsu Crossing also grants playersinevitable access to Kinetic Blades,as they are spread all throughout the POI, so players looking for the sword should have no problem obtaining one.
1Loot Island
Though the named locations, especially the newer ones, are wonderful for players to land at and explore, some of the more subtle POIs are exceptional to search around in too. One, in particular, is the Loot Island POI. The Loot Island POI doesn’t spawn into the game until around halfway through a match (four to five storm circles).
As soon as one does spawn though, players should jump on the chance to claim the island as their own with the Capture Point. This rewards players with the Mythic Overclocked Pulse Rifle,which is very overpowered.
