Next month,Final Fantasyfans attending PAX East will have a chance to hear some questions answered by Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida, as he will be in Boston for the event. In his capacity as producer of bothFinal Fantasy 14andFinal Fantasy 16, Yoshi-P will respond to questions sent to him byFinal Fantasyplayers during two panels at the annual show.
ThoughFinal Fantasy 14will not be releasing its next expansion in 2023, Square Enix’s critically-acclaimed MMORPG will be celebrating the 10th anniversary ofA Realm Rebornthroughout the year. The occasion marks a decade since the game was relaunched following the disastrous 1.0 release that nearly brought Square Enix and theFinal Fantasybrand to its knees. With Yoshi-P brought on as producer and director forFinal Fantasy 14to salvage the project, he and Creative Business Unit 3 developed a reputation for being as transparent and forward as possible with the state of the game. This led to his position as the producer of the upcomingFinal Fantasy 16.
