Fans are now likely intrigued and curious about how Chocobos will factor into the remake.

On the officialFinal Fantasy 7 RemakeJapanese Twitter account, the team shared multiple images of the game’s Chocobo concept art. This includes front and back images of the Chocobo itself, concept art of a Chocobo-drawn carriage, and the last one focuses on a render of a Chocobo-themed popcorn sales stall. Using Google Translate, the post shares some in-game details such as popular products found in Midgar such as Chocobo-scented laundry detergent, and popcorn made from “Chocobo Beans.” The post even went so far to say that these “Chocobo Beans” are considered a wonder of the world due to their unique shape after popping.
Though the post does not revealFinal Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2updates, it does give fans a sneak peek about the heavy lore and flavor context being added into the game. This was also seen in how Square Enix provided fans with details about the fictionalFinal Fantasy 7 Lovelessmusical, likely sating the community’s interest about more minute in-game details. However, the timing of the Chocobo post seems quite right. Given thatFF7 Remake Part 2will have Cloud Strife’s party more on the open road, the iconic flightless birds will likely be seen or utilized more often in the gameplay.
