Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remasteris looking to provide a definitive version of the classic SNES title for both old players and newcomers to enjoy. With the rest of theFinal Fantay Pixel Remastersalready released, Square Enix needs just a little bit more time with this final title, delaying it by a couple of months.
When they were announced earlier this year, theFinal FantasyPixel Remasterswere hit with some skepticism, in part due to Square Enix’s track record in porting those original games. Being exclusive to mobile and PC, the Pixel Remasters have totally skipped the console realm, leaving many fans eager to give these ports a try disappointed. PreviousFinal Fantasyports to mobile and PC have been certainly playable, but often came with changes that didn’t sit well with fans, like the smoothed out art style ofFinal Fantasy 6on mobile. The idea of these ports was to provide asimilar remaster treatment to all sixFinal Fantasygameswithout sacrificing their original design.
