The best competitors in the these games will be coming from around the world to compete and share their love of all things Pokemon.
ThePokemonanime has finally crowned Ash the world champion, but there are still countless players in the real world who want to compete for their own championship title, and they’ll have their chance this August. For fans who aren’t up for competing, there are still plenty of reasons to make the trip to Yokohama, such as the joy of being a part of the event, seeing some great matches, and cheering on the players. Now, fans just got another motivation to be there in person if possible.

In a recent tweet from The Pokemon Company’s official account, fans got a look at newPokemonfigures that are being produced to celebrate the 2023 World Championships. These figures will be released during the event and will only be available at the Pokemon Center Worlds Store in Yokohama. Anyone in the area will likely want to pay a visit to the store to check them out.
The exclusive figures are of series favorite, Pikachu, and the latest starters, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. WithPokemon Scarlet and Violetreleasing last year and being featured in the championship, it makes sense that these starters will be joining Pikachu in the figure roster. Recently, aPokemon Scarlet and Violetfan used a 3D printer to make figures of their own team, but now some lucky, diehard fans can get official figures for some of the latest Pokemon.
These figures will be rare collectibles and serve as another great incentive for fans to attend the World Championships in person if they possibly can. Some fans certainly love to collect, andone Pokemon fan recently showed off a massive collection of figures. A chance to own four figures that can’t be found anywhere else could definitely be worth the price of a ticket and hotel for some.
While competitors are putting together TCG decks and reviewing the12 strongest Pokemon inScarlet and Violet, other people will be making preparation for travel. Now, these fans will have one more stop to add to their itinerary.
