The newElder Scrolls Online:High IsleMythic Item the Oakensoul Ring is causing quite the commotion in theElder Scrolls OnlinePvP community. It is an exceptionally good Mythic for Werewolves, even after minor nerfs, and the ESO community has come up with a number of builds that take advantage of this fact.
RELATED:Elder Scrolls Online: Every New Armor Set In High IsleThis build requires that players begin with the Sorcerer class, though it uses Stamina as its primary resource. A similar build from AlcastHQ, a popularESObuild creator, served as the basis for this Oakensoul Ring build. Some changes to Armor were made to accommodate the loss of a Ring slot to the Oakensoul Ring, but much of the playstyle, rotation, and skill setup remains the same.
Clever Alchemist
There are three setsESO players should collectto put together this powerful Werewolf PvP build: the New Moon Acolyte set, the Clever Alchemist set, and the Engine Guardian Monster set. The Clever Alchemist set requires that players use consumables with this build, as it only procs after taking a potion. As such, it is recommended tobring plenty of Dubious Camoran Throne or Artaeum Takeaway Broth drinksinto your PvP fights.
TheNew Moon Acolyte setincreases Critical Chance, Weapon and Spell damage, and reduces the cost of all abilities slightly - if you can’t get this set, the Order’s Wrath set is much more accessible and provides equally good bonuses. TheClever Alchemist setadds Max Health a full equip bonus that increases weapon and spell damage significantly after taking a consumable. TheEngine Guardian setis a great self-sustain set, especially for PvP, as it has a good chance to summon a healing and resource-regenerating automaton with each ability used.
Oakensoul Werewolf Sorcerer Skills
As Sorcerers, Oakensoul Werewolf players using this build have two useful class skills at their disposal: Critical Surge and Hurricane. Critical Surge doesn’t add any new buffs for the Oakensoul Werewolf sorcerer, but it does add self-healing with each instance of Critical damage, making it particularly useful alongside the New Moon set (or Order’s Wrath set). However, the Empowered Ward ability can also be useful as it provides a strong shield rather than self-healing.
RELATED:Elder Scrolls Online High Isle: Every New AntiquityHurricane increases movement speed and defenses for a few seconds after being cast, and it affects a wider area than normal at the cost of Stamina instead of Magicka. The 2H Weapon skill line is home to the majority of the front bar’s options, like Critical Rush, Dizzying Swing, and Forward Momentum. The Werewolf form really benefits from the Oakensoul Ring the most, though. The abilities on the Werewolf skill bar are pretty standard for most Werewolf builds in ESO, so be sure to get used to the rotations and requirements of this style of gameplay before committing to it via this one-bar build.
