The lore of the characters and multitudinous customization options are what allow players to get lost in the game’s world.
Much of the lore inElden Ringis found through short cutscenes, character dialogue, or item descriptions. Ultimately, this makes it extremely difficult for players to explain everything that is happening in the Lands Between. This is on-brand for a FromSoftware game, and fans of the series have come to expect it. This also leaves it up to the most dedicated fans to decide for themselves what the game’s lore is and what it isn’t. Most fans of the series have no problem getting lost in the ornate andelaborate details that make upElden Ring’slore. However, some fans wish they could do more than just play the game that is in front of them.

In a video posted to Reddit, anElden Ringfan used a green screen to place themselves in the game. This allowed them to interact with one of the game’s most enigmatic characters, Miquella. The user, who is known by the name of MelaPrilia, dressed in full Tarnished attire and placed themselves in the middle of thehidden Mohgwyn Palace inElden Ring. Armed with only a glintstone staff, MelaPrilia walked through the boss arena towards the egg that houses Miquella’s body. They then proceeded to attempt to wake up Miquella in several comical ways, prompting funny and gross sound effects along the way. Finally, Miquella’s arm animates to scoop them up and take them down into the egg, transporting them via portal to the realm of theElden RingDLC: Shadow of the Erdtree.
The attention to detail in the video is nothing short of impressive. From the lighting, shadows, sound effects, animations, props, and the ways that they interact with the environment, it is clear that an enormous amount of time and effort was put into creating this masterpiece. MeliPrilia clearly has a lot of love for the world ofElden Ring, and it shows in their work. It seems thatthe Lands Between can be humorous, and this video is just one example of that.
Fans ofElden Ringwill do almost anything to show off their love for the insanely popular game. Now with the announcement ofthe upcomingElden RingDLC, fans are excited to get a taste of what is in store for the future. In the meantime, Tarnished will have to settle for fan-made creations like this one.
