Goku is one of the most iconic shonen characters of all time. This happy-go-lucky shonen protagonist has been at the heart ofDragon Ball’s major plot points, with this talented martial artist being able to accomplish everything within his power to beat incredibly powerful threats over and over again. His stupidity has got him into sticky situations more often than not and is often overplayed for some of the more comedic and light-hearted moments in the series. 10Making Fun Of Vegeta’s Pink Shirt
Vegeta is a prideful warrior who loves his masculinity, so watching him wear a pink shirt is oddly hilarious. It is also one of Vegeta’s best outfits that fans love to use in theDragon Ballvideo games.
Goku doesn’t shy away fromthrowing some shade at Vegetafor his outfit too. For what it’s worth, Vegeta was the one who started it, and it was pretty hilarious to see him get flustered when the joke was on him instead,
9Outright Telling Vegeta He’s Stronger Than Him
Beforethe Cell Games, both Vegeta and Goku take turns getting their child with them to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for training purposes. While Vegeta and Trunks do a fair bit of training, Goku and Gohan simply outclass them both in power after a point.
In fact, Goku goes so far as to tell Vegeta on his face that his power level is simply higher. Vegeta understandably gets irritated after this and watching Goku crack a sly smile is the cherry on top of this memorable scene.
8Trying To Learn How To Drive
The episode where Goku and Piccolo learn how to drive is one of the best pieces of filler in the entire series. Watching both these characters struggle for such an inane task makes for a great time indeed.

The reckless and competitive driving that both get into after a point makes for a great watch indeed. Suffice to say, both students failed their driver’s exams and weren’t going to retake them anytime soon.
7Escaping From The Clutches Of Princess Snake
Goku’s journey through Snake Way is littered with its fair share of filler moments, including one where he gets sidetracked into entering Princess Snake’s palace. This leads to a hilarious chain of events, where Goku even encounters an odd woman who tries to play Russian Roulette, only to off herself with the first shot.
The end of this episode sees Goku fleeing the palace, with its Princess turning into an actual snake that terrorizes him before his escape. It’s a great episode that fans ofDragon Ball Zlove quite a bit.
6Pretending To Be Hurt By Mr. Satan
Dragon Ball Super’s introductory episode sees Goku working as a farmer andneglecting his training. This is seen when he thwarts an armed robbery but is grazed by a bullet in the process.
During this episode, he also meets Mr. Satan, and Goku asks the martial arts celebrity to punch him so that he could draw attention away from a certain series of events. Mr. Satan does the same and Goku flies away pretending to be hurt… only to come back since he forgot his tractor!
5Vegeta Using His Final Flash Against Him During A Baseball Game
The baseball episode fromDragon Ball Supermakes for one of the series' most memorable filler moments. The entire episode is a blast, withthe showdown between Goku and Vegetabeing pretty hilarious.
While Goku tries to send the baseball flying, Vegeta impedes him with a series of energy blasts before charging up and almost firing a Final Flash in sheer desperation. It’s such an over-the-top moment that fans can’t help but laugh at Goku’s plight, although he manages to send the ball flying anyway after Vegeta is distracted by Yamcha’s antics.
4Goku And Vegeta’s Adventures Within Super Buu
After being eaten as Vegito by Super Buu, the two Saiyan warriors defuse inside him. This makes for a hilarious moment as Vegeta’s fear of squeamish things comes to light.
Watching these two Saiyans roam around within their villain makes for a hilarious time. Both Goku and Vegeta go out of their way to engage in some hilarious antics, making for a slightly light-hearted moment between the seriousness of the Buu Saga.
3Being Extremely Casual With The Ruler Of The Multiverse
Most people would expect that the powerful ruler of the multiverse would be treated with respect across the board. However, Goku apparently didn’t get this memo, based on his rather callous behavior.

He alwaysaddresses Zeno casually, which is pretty hilarious given how even the Gods bow their heads to Lord Zeno. Surprisingly enough, this puny ruler actually appreciates this change of pace and develops a soft spot for Goku.
2Making Fun Of Vegeta’s Love For Bulma
The moment when Beerus arrives on Earth makes for a great time, with Vegeta bending over backward to try and accommodate the Destroyer God. However, things reach a head when Beerus smacks Bulma for talking back to him, causing her husband to power up in a fit of rage and smack Beerus with a well-placed punch.
This moment is later lampooned by Gokuafter the Destroyer God is placated. Seeing Goku mimic Vegeta’s cry of anguish is pretty hilarious indeed, and shows just how deep the bond between these two Saiyans really is.
1Finding Out Who Trunks' Parents Are
The mysterious Saiyan who cuts down both Frieza and his father is a source of great excitement when he arrives for the first time inDragon Ball Z. It’s not until Goku lands that we find out who he really is.
The Saiyan is revealed to be Trunks from an alternate timeline, with his parents being Bulmaand Vegeta. This revelation surprises Goku quite a bit, who can’t really keep his reaction under control and has to keep his emotions under check while relaying Trunks' information to the rest of the group.
