Gameloft announced this decision with a blog update posted on October 27.
In this same blog post, it was also revealed that the first paid expansion pack forDisney Dreamlight Valleywill be released soon. Players who want to learn more about the A Rift in Time DLC can watch the livestream on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Live on November 1 at 1 PM ET. Even though the expansion pack has just been revealed, there is quite a lot of information in the announcement post. Players can purchase A Rift in Time digitally for $29.99, and it includes a5,000 Moonstone pack. This expansion will take place in a new location called Eternity Isle, and here gamers will be able to visit new biomes and meet new characters such as EVE fromWALL-E, Gaston fromBeauty and the Beast, and Rapunzel fromTangled.
