Diablo 4: Seasons Explained

Fans will also advance through the Battle Pass by defeating monsters, completing quests, and performing other standard activities, and it is very likely that they will need to spend quite a lot of time on those tasks if they want to reach Tier 100.
Approximatelythree monthsafter the beginning ofDiabloSeason 1, it will come to a close, and players' seasonal characters will be sent to theEternal Realm. While fans will be free to continue progressing those characters, they can also start new ones in order to engage with a new Season that will be beginning.
