Player feedback is the lifeblood for most live service games, both in terms of identifying bugs and glitches, but also in how the game can smooth out gameplay issues.Diablo 4is no different in this regardas the action RPG has seen a variety of updates since its launch back in June.

With that said, not every update goes according to plan asDiablo 4Season 1introduced a massive patch which impacted a huge portion of the game from mechanics to character balancing. As expected, many of the changes were not looked at in a positive light in the community and the pushback was so loud that Blizzard quickly put together a Fireside Chat to reveal how it was going to undo many of the changes. As new updates have released since, Blizzard reveals the latest patch notes for 1.1.2.

Following fresh on the heels of arecent AugustDiablo 4updatethat launched just a few days ago, Blizzard is already preparing for another patch set to arrive on August 15. This update doesn’t feature a ton in terms of gameplay tweaks, mainly addressing a large list of bugs and issues with the UI, quest and progression blockers, as well as a trio of Druid-specific problems. The patch does also adjust the wait time for Malignant Monsters to spawn after activating a Malignant Heart, reducing it from 5 to 2 seconds. By default, players are now automatically added to the Trade Channel, though they can opt out from in-game settings .

For many fans, Update 1.1.2. finally addresses one of the more frustrating seasonal progression blockers with the “A Boon in the Tide” journey objective. SomeDiablo 4fans were unable to progress their Seasonal Journeyas opening a Helltide Chest was not completing the challenge, thereby preventing them from progressing forward. Blizzard president Mike Ybarra did confirm that Blizzard would be addressing this bug in August and thankfully, this update should provide the solution to those that are stuck.

Many fans are hoping that a future update will bring about a major change for multiplayer. To help in finding others to play with, someDiablo 4fans are hoping that Blizzard adds in a dedicated matchmaking option, which would certainly go a long way for helping solo players overcome some of the bigger challenges present or, at the very least, just ease part of the grind.
