After nearly a week of data collection, brute force attempts, and confusion, theDestiny 2community finally solved the Corridors of Time puzzle. This weekend it seemed like thepuzzle was nearly solved, but it took a few extra contributions to push things over the edge. Now, players know what is at the end of the maze, but they need to get there first.
The solution to theCorridors of Time puzzleinvolves moving through the correct pathway in each room 30 different times. In each room, there are pathways with different symbols in front of them – a Hex, Diamond, Plus, Snake, or a Clover. Going through any incorrect door can get players lost in the Corridors of Time, but they can reset by heading through the pathway with the red symbol at the start of each room.

To get to the end of the Corridors of Time mission, players will need to follow the below path:
Clover, Diamond, Snake, Clover, Plus, Plus, Hex, Hex, Hex, Plus, Diamond, Plus, Snake, Diamond, Clover, Snake, Plus, Plus, Snake, Snake, Hex, Diamond, Clover, Plus, Diamond, Hex, Hex, Diamond, Plus, Diamond.
If done correctly, players should end up in the Timelost Vault that the community was using to solve the puzzle, only the quest marker should change to say “The End.” Some dialogue will play and then players will get a Core and a new quest.
Destiny 2players that have been following recent datamines should recognize the Core and the quest they get from Saint-14 as being part of theBastion exotic fusion riflequest. There was a concern that this puzzle would just unlock a weapon quest that players already knew about and that seems to be the case.
What’s most confusing is that the Bastion quest is on theSeason of Dawn roadmap, but it isn’t supposed to go live before January 28th. Perhaps Bungie figured it would take the community longer to solve the puzzle.
No matter how players might feel about the puzzle coming to an end, the community should feel proud that it came together and completed somethingBungie called a Marathon. Now players can hop online and go after that exotic.
Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
