How To Get Mykel’s Reverence

To obtain the Mykel’s Reverence Sidearm, players must gather a fireteam of six and venture into theRoot of Nightmares raid. Specifically, they must complete the second, third, and final encounters of the raid for a chance at earning the gun. Completing them will not guarantee a drop. That said, it has a higher chance to drop than the other raid weapons, as some only have one or two encounters to be earned from.

Guardians only need to obtain the gun once, as when they do, they can purchase more copies from the final loot chestafter defeating Nezarecat the end of the raid. Remember that it will cost twenty Spoils of Conquest to purchase additional copies of the gun for better rolls. Spoils of Conquest are earned by completing each encounter in the raid, and each completion rewards five Spoils.

What Is The God Roll For Mykel’s Reverence?

Thankfully, unlike theother raid weapons, the Mykel’s Reverence has an excellent perk pool for both PvE and PvP activities. For PvP, the God Roll that players should be looking for isElemental CapacitorandSwashbuckler. Elemental Capacitor will give a buff to the gun based on the player’s subclass, while Swashbuckler will provide a bonus to the damage for each kill the player gets or if they secure a melee kill prior. This combo is very effective for aggressive playstyles such as Arc Titans, who specialize in melee kills, allowing them to shred down any opponent in their way easily.

PvE has multiple options to work with, but the God Roll that players should look for isRewind RoundsandHatchling. Rewind Rounds will automatically reload the gun from reserves based on the player’s number of hits, while Hatchling will spawn a Threadling on every other kill. This combo is fantastic for a Strand Warlock build, as it will allow them to constantly keep firing the gun while there are enemies to shoot while continuously spawning Threadlings, whichStrand Warlocksspecialize in.

Players seeking the Adept version of the Mykel’s Reverence Sidearm must complete the Illuminated Torment challenge on Master difficulty.
