Dead Island 2hides a good number of mods and special weapons in locked boxes and chests aroundthe quarantined zone of Hell-A. Players practically trip over these lockboxes that require special keys in order to open, and there are no indicators on where they can be found most of the time.
The locked Construction Team’s Safe inDead Island 2can be encountered early on but cannot be opened until very late in the game. This guide will show players when the Foreman’s Keys will be available to earn, how to get them, and what the reward is.

Construction Team’s Safe Location
The Construction Team’s Safe can be found in the southernmost house in the Beverly Hills area. Players will first travel to the area to find Emma Jaunt’s assistant Michael andbreak into his house. The house with the safe is in the midst of construction, and it is located in a small room on the second floor.
The room is across the hallway from where the workshop bench is. Players can naturally come across the Construction Team’s Safe during the eighth main story mission Kwon With The Wind, where players are tasked on rescuing Jessie Kwon to ask her where to find Michael.
The Foreman’s Key required to open the Construction Team’s Safe is not far from house, and players do not even have to leave the premises. Although, the Foreman’s Key will not be available to get until the player has completed the 21st main story mission in the game,The Search for Truth.
Once the requirement is met,the Foreman’s Key can be found by defeating The Site Foreman special zombie in the backyard of the construction house. The special zombie will be wandering around some equipment, and the general area is marked on the map above.It will also have its name above the health bar to identify it. The Site Foreman is a tank of a zombie to fight, so players should make sure that are properly equippedwith great weaponsand are stocked on medical kits to heal.
There are other zombies in the area that will join the fight, soplaying co-op with friendswill help decrease the difficulty. The special zombie will drop the Foreman’s Key upon defeat, and players will receive theSuperior Melee Impactor Mod Blueprintfrom theConstruction Team’s Safe. The mod gives a boost to physical damage and force, and can traumatize zombies to send them flying into other enemies from hitting them.
