As players make their way throughCyberpunk 2077’sPhantom Libertyexpansion, they will notice that they can once again level up their character’s attributes. This process, which has been capped at level 50 since the game’s release, considerably increases the player’s ability to customize their version of V. This, along with the expansion’s new Relic Point system, will see V reach the incredible potential that was originally promised by CD Projekt Red.
Phantom Libertyretains the base game’s attribute system, which gives players access to five distinct categories: Body, Reflexes, Technical Abilities, Intelligence, and Cool. Players who have been away for some time will find that the new 2.0 update – which is both free, and separate fromPhantom Liberty –has completely overhauled the perk system. With this new system, and thePhantom Libertyexpansion,Cyberpunk 2077feels like a wholly new experience.

Phantom Liberty Max Attribute Points
Phantom Libertyintroduces a newmax attribute points levelintoCyberpunk 2077.In the base game, players had access to 71 total attribute points, and a max level of 50. This made it impossible to fill all five attribute categories, which were – and still are – capped at 20.
Now,Phantom Libertyhas raised the max level 10 points, from 50 to 60, which provides 10 new attributes points for players to use however they see fit. This raisesCyberpunk 2077’s max attribute point level to 81. While this does not allow players to fully max out all attribute categories, it does allow players the opportunity to significantly expand multiple categories, opening up perks that were previously unavailable.
Phantom Liberty Max Perk Points
Players wonderinghow many attribute points are inPhantom Liberty, will likely wonderhow many perk points are inPhantom Libertyas well. In the base version ofCyberpunk 2077, players had access to 70 perk points, and much like the attribute point cap, this meant they were unable to fully unlock all perk trees.
Unfortunately for those players looking to fully unlockthe perk tree inPhantom Liberty, the new80 perk point maxwill still not be enough. However, just as with the new attribute point max, having 10 more perk points to assign can drastically alter V’s power level.
It is also important to note that the 2.0 update allows players to completely respec any time they see fit. The new process is completely free, and can be done at any point in the game, all within the Character menu.
