Over the years, there have been plenty of belovedCall of DutyZombies maps, with Buried being one of them. TheBlack Ops 2map is remembered fondly byCall of DutyZombies fans for many reasons, one of which being its unique items.
The map served as the introduction for the iconic Ray Gun Mark 2, a weapon that many see as an improvement over the original. The Paralyzer was also introduced, which is seen as one of the mode’s most overpoweredWonder Weaponsdue to its infinite ammo and the potential to lift players up to areas of Buried that are otherwise inaccessible. With the Remington New Model Army revolver fitting the aesthetic, there is a lot to love about the map – though it is the Time Bomb that truly steals the show.

Buried fanswill surely remember all the interesting things that could be done with the Time Bomb, as the special equipment essentially served as a save state for a Zombies match. Players could toss one down on round 20, and if things got out of hand on round 25, they could return to that point in the match. With fun tricks like perk duplication, the equipment was unforgettable, and it makes sense that a talented Redditor like IZA_does_the_art would want a real-life version.
While theCall of DutyZombies fan can’t replicate the time travel capabilities of the device, everything else about their creation is accurate. The clock face that makes up the body of the device can be seen, with a wooden body seen as well as some stylish gold accents. The Redditor also managed to recreate the trigger for the time bomb, with the detonator featuring the same knobs that it does inCall of Duty: Black Ops 2Zombies. While this would have been enough to make the prop great, the Redditor did not stop there.
Though there are plenty of neatCall of DutyZombies replicas, few are designed so that they glow in the dark. However, IZA_does_the_art went out of their way to make this Time Bomb do just that, and the result is incredible. They share an image of the Time Bomb with the lights off, and the clock face is seen glowing a bright blue. All the numbers are easily visible, and the spiral pattern stands out even more when the room is darkened. Unsurprisingly, fans have responded well to the post, giving it hundreds of upvotes and some positive comments.
If gamers get their wish regardingthe heavily rumored Zombies Chronicles 2, perhaps they could be seeing the Time Bomb and Buried again in the near future. For now, though,Call of DutyZombies players that want to use this item must go back to 2012’sBlack Ops 2.
