Call of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason One began just two weeks ago, and alongside its launch Infinity Ward added a number of new guns, maps, and modes to its highly-popular first-person shooter. However, that was certainly not the end of what the developer has planned for Season One, and even more new content and playlist updates are available today, December 18, as part ofCall of Duty: Modern WarfarePatch 1.12.

While there is a lot to parse in theCoD: MWUpdate 1.12 patch notes, what will immediately stand out to some players is that the patch brings back the game’s standard Gunfight mode. Just last week, the Gunfight OSP variation temporarily replaced the standard version of this fan-favorite game mode, and many fans will be happy to hear that this change has been reverted with today’s update. Additionally, the patch addsCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Cranked game mode,a “fast-paced, high octane Deathmatch.”

These three new maps will compliment the others that have already been added in Season One, and there are undoubtedly more on the way.
