Call of Duty is Crossing Over With Crash Bandicoot

Activision is bringing the world ofCrash BandicoottoCall of Duty: WarzoneandModern Warfare 2with its latest crossover.Call of Duty: Warzonehas crossed over with multiple properties over the years likeAttack on TitanandDie Hard, but a newWarzoneandModern Warfare 2update brings a beloved Activision character back.

Activision has regularly updatedCall of Duty: Warzonesince it was first released in 2020, with the battle royale getting a sequel in 2022. The secondWarzonehas implemented several changes that make it feel slightly different from the original experience, but many features remain like pre-set loadout drops, deployable parachutes, and bounties. Just asthe originalCall of Duty: Warzonehas collaborated with numerous franchises, Activision is looking to do the same withWarzone, and a big crossover event is coming to the battle royale andModern Warfare 2.

TheCall of DutyYouTube channel has uploaded a video showing off a newCrash Bandicootcrossover event which is full of references to the former PlayStation hero. TheWarzoneandModern Warfare 2clip highlights twoCrash Bandicoot-themedCall of Dutyweapon blueprints, with one focusing on the titular character, and the other featuring his sister Coco Bandicoot. Celebrating therelease ofCrash Team Rumble, the Tracer Pack is available now, and it includes these blueprints, the Bandicoot vehicle skin, and more for 1,800 COD points.

The Bandicoot vehicle skin replaces theCall of Duty: WarzoneATVwith a blue and gold Wumpa fruit kart that would look familiar inCrash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. The bundle also includes weapon charms that are themed aroundCrash Team Rumble, with a Wumpa fruit, boxing glove, grapes, and a small version of Crash himself. With Crash and Coco Bandicoot taking up most of these blueprints, the title ofCrash Team Rumbleis also emblazoned on the side of the Let’s Rumble and N.Sanity weapons.

BecauseCrash Bandicootfans have been requesting more skins inCall of Dutybecause of the current limited offerings, it’s possible that this bundle celebratingCrash Team Rumblemay become aWarzoneandModern Warfare 2bestseller. Although a portion of theCall of Dutycommunity has stopped playing between content drops, thereturn ofCrash Bandicootmay be enough to bring some back.
