Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarandCall of Duty: Warzonefans have been looking forward to the debut of the AMP63, with the machine pistol being the final gun of Season 3. Now, it can finally be unlocked, withCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers having a few ways to acquire it.
Players have been extremely excited about this gun in particular, so much so that they used aCall of Duty: Warzoneglitchto unlock it early. Much of the excitement for the AMP63 comes from the fact that it is a machine pistol, a type of weapon that has not yet been seen inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. As such, many are hoping it will be as deadly as the Kap-40 or G18.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warfansare finally able to unlock the AMP63 properly, as Treyarch has confirmed that the gun is now live in-game. As shown in the attached image, it can be dual-wielded, giving gamers a setup that could prove to be incredibly deadly. As with other midseason weapons, it is unlocked by completing a special weapon challenge inside of Multiplayer, Zombies, orCall of Duty: Warzone. A bundle will also be available for those looking to get the gun immediately.
As for the challenges, players are already aware of what must be done inCall of Duty: Warzone. In the battle royale game, players must get 5 kills in 20 different matches, with the Plunder game mode being an excellent way to finish the challenge. In multiplayer, the exact same task will need to be completed, only with all five kills coming from a pistol. For those interested in the quickest challenge for the gun, players should load up a match ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarZombies, as 400 headshots with pistols is easily doable in one long match.
For those intrigued by the bundle, it will cost 1,000 COD Points. Called “Gamma Ray,” the pack is made up of a weapon charm, emblem, sticker, and 2 tier skips. As withotherCall of Dutybundles, the special blueprint variant of the AMP63 is the star of the show. Called the “Gravitazer,” it features a red muzzle with a unique white barrel. Giving the gun a more futuristic appearance, the pack serves as a solid way to personalize the machine pistol.
Withother pistols like the Sykovdominating inCall of Duty: Warzone, it will be interesting to see how well it performs in the battle royale game. With all the pistols being solid inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warthus far, it seems likely that the AMP63 will thrive as well.
