The building anticipation forSpider-Man: Miles Moralesis reaching a fever pitch now that the game’s release is only weeks away. The fact thatMiles Moralesis a PS5 launch titleonly serves to further PlayStation fans’ desire to return to theMarvel’s Spider-Man’s version of the streets of New York.
Members of the larger gaming community have been showing their excitement in a number of different ways. Recently, artist and art director BossLogic showcased an incredible crossover art piece depicting the style ofSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Versecombined withSpider-Man Miles: Morales’ PS5 box art.

BossLogic is an artist most known for his artwork involving pop culture subjects and figures surrounding gaming, film, and comic books. Some gaming fans may be familiar with BossLogic through his involvement withAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s reveal. During the leadup to the full reveal, BossLogic streamed himself drawing the artwork that would go on to unveil the main setting ofValhallaalong with the game’s male protagonist, Eivor. Now, BossLogic is showing some love toSpider-Manby creating an absolutely stunning piece of art that mixes theSpider-Versefilm’s Miles Morales with PlayStation’sSpider-Man: Miles Morales.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Versewas critically acclaimed following its release, with many praising the film’s incredible art style and overall aesthetic. In BossLogic’s piece, he combined the stylistic, slimmer Miles from the film with the general style of theMiles MoralesPS5 box art and layout. BossLogic also adds elements of the glitchy flair that’s central to the overall plot ofInto the Spider-Verse, as well as creating a black and white-centric versions of the piece. Needless to say, the piece is a stunning crossover depiction of two interpretations of the loveable Miles Morales.
Spider-Man: Miles Moraleson PS5 has also shown love to theInto the Spider-Versefilm ahead of the game’s release. Insomniac recently revealed aSpider-Versesuit inMiles Moralesthat players can unlock over the course of the game. TheSpider-Versesuit inMiles Moralesgives Miles hisSpider-Verseappearance while also tweaking his frame rate to match the effect achieved in the film. The in-game suit does an excellent job at marrying the aesthetic and feel ofSpider-Versewith theMiles Moralesgame, similar to BossLogic’s artwork.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Versewas likely many fans' introductions to the Miles Morales character. The film was an excellent origin story for Miles, but Insomniac’sSpider-Manon PS4 already gave Miles his origin story. As such, Insomniac has said thatMiles Moralesis a coming of agestory that focuses on the young hero getting used to his new role and responsibilities. One thing is for sure: the response to BossLogic’s crossover piece on social media shows that both interpretations of Miles mean a lot to plenty ofSpider-Manfans.
