The game has well over 100 cloaks and robes, but some are harder to obtain than others, featuring unique rarities and unlock requirements to become one of the fanciest wizards or witches in all of Hogwarts and the remaining wizarding world.

Completing the Exploration Challenge, players can earn this cape by viewing Constellations from 5 Astronomy Tables. It’s a cape thatcounts as a collectible, and who doesn’t like a cape?
Wearing a cape can be a lot of fun, especially when it can swoosh in the wind thanks to the flight of a broomstick, or the actions of one’s wand. Wearing the Starry-Eyed Seer’s Cape might provide players with a sense of royalty thanks to the colors.
9Dark Arts Robe
Obtained By: Purchase Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition Upgrade
“A robe suited to those seeking great power, no matter the cost.”
TheDark Arts are a twisted and powerful thing, frowned upon by the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts alike. However, players that seek that dark power, and the knowledge of Unforgivable Curses may like the appearance of the Dark Arts Robe and its completing set.
The Dark Arts Set is purchasable for owners ofHogwarts Legacy, or, is already accessible to those that haveHogwarts LegacyDeluxe Edition. The Dark Arts Robes feature an animated robe, with moving skulls and patterns that fetch across the grey and black robes in an ominous design.
8Herodiana’s Cape
Obtained By: Complete The Hall of Herodiana Side Quest
“A cape once worn by famed Depulso master Herodiana, earned by solving the puzzles in the Hall of Herodiana”
When acquiring this cape, players will give themselves a royal and pure cape. It’s a white cape that will have players feeling like a superhero, except this superhero might be able to swish around a wand for their powers.
The Herodiana’s Cape also has a hood, meaning players can hide, and the snow white cape makes them stand out as a hero for purity, or perhaps, to use the colors as an illusion for something farmore sinister than one’s appearance may realize.
7Dragonhide Protector’s Cloak
Obtained By: Defeat 10 Dark Wizards In The Combat Challenge
“A cloak fashioned from dragonhide for the bravest defenders, earned by defeating Ashwinders and poachers.”
It seems a little hypocritical for a cloak to boast of how it was made after defeating poachers, to then fashion a cloak from dragonhide, but the Dragonhide Protector’s Cloak is quite fashionable and helps students of Hogwartsstand out as they venturethrough the schooland Hogsmeade.Although one has to admit to the irony that to obtain a coat made of dragon hide, one must defeat poachers, the very group of people that are actively going out of their way to harm dragons that could just be defending their eggs and territory.
The Dragonhide Protector’s Cloak will have the player feeling like an adult rather than a fifth-year student who islate to Herbology class. It’s also an earned reward, which makes it an achievement in itself, as players need to defeat a certain number of Ashwinders and poachers, proving that the player is the superior wand wielder.
6Fashionable Dress Robe
Obtained By: Solve 1 Hogwarts Secret In The Exploration Challenge
“A set of robes, flush with contemporary style earned by discovering Hogwarts’ secrets”
Elegance has been proven in Hogwarts, and the Fashionable Dress Robes will prove to other students and citizens around Hogwarts how truly regal they are. It’s an adoring outfit thanks to its color palette and delicate materials that make its design. It’s a fashionable outfit that will draw eyes in themost fun classes.
For players to earn this prestigious piece of attire, they will need to complete the Exploration Challenge objective to Solve 1 Hogwarts Secret. It is not a hard challenge, and it will provide them with a piece of attire that will make them seem rather fancy.
5Relic House Uniform
Obtained By: Complete The Daedalian Keys Side Quest
“A House robe, earned by using the Daedalian keys to unlock your house chest.”
When the player starts their adventure inHogwarts Legacy, they will be placed into a House. These four houses each haveexclusive questsand attire. Players will obtain their house-specific Relic House Uniform based on their house, and each features an interesting detail during spellcasting, as well as the house mascot on the back.
Players will need to find all Daedalian keys to obtain this outfit, which makes the Relic House Uniform an achievement in itself, one that students can proudly boast to their classmates and the other students around Hogwarts. To make it even better, the Relic House Uniform will glow with the house colors when spells are being used.
4Legendary Cape
Obtained By: Complete 4 Main Quests In The Quest Challenge

Despite the impractical use of capes, it does not stop them from being extremely cool. The Legendary Cape is earned as the player progresses throughHogwarts Legacy’smain story, and it is well worth the campaign progress.
The Legendary Cape has an impressive amount of physics, meaning it won’t be stiff and will flow in the wind and movement of the character. The pattern weaved into the Legendary Cape is mysterious and perfectly fits the theme of Ancient Magic, the thing that drives the narrative forward.
3Leather Winter Cloak
Obtained By: Looting Random Chests / Enemies
“A cloak, fashioned from leather and fur, perfect for brisk Scottish winters”
There’s a weather system toHogwarts Legacythat will see players trudging through the snow in some segments. It’s best to have the Leather Winter Cloak, in case players catch a cold in the chilly weather around Hogwarts.
It’s nice to wear the Leather Winter Cloak, as it adds to the immersion of the game by having appropriate attire for when the game gets rather cold. It might not be as regal as other outfits, but it’s a nice leather coat.
Obtained By: Being Assigned A House By The Sorting Hat
“A well-appointed school robe, exemplary of traditional Hogwarts style.”
Players obtain their first piece of cloth after they are placed into a house by the Sorting Hat. The player has the option of the four iconic Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor,Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. Depending on the house depends on the House badge and color.
Each student will have different colors based on their House, which adds a sense of community within the Houses of Hogwarts but also keeps the player-created character unique to their companions. The Traditional School Robe is a great asset to the game and can be used by those that want to keep the story ofHogwarts Legacylore friendly, or by those that just enjoy being a student and exploring the many adventures of Hogwarts and its mysteries.
1Spider Slayer Armour
Obtained By: Complete the Combat Challenge - Defeat 10 Spiders
“A suit of armor for the bravest arachnid battler, earned by defeating spiders.”
This one goes out to the arachnophobic players, as they will be rewarded for braving their fears and squishing as many giant spiders as they can to obtain this metallic suit of armor. Despite its shine, the suit of armor offers no protection outside of being cosmetic; however, the player will look pretty good whilst casting spells, rolling, and jumping around the intense battlefield filled with witches, wizards, and beasts.
The Spider Slayer Armour is a great set and is perhaps the most visually distinct outfit inHogwarts Legacy. Thanks to this option, players can decide if they want to be a simple witch/wizard or a knight who has found magic. It adds a level of fun to an already fun game.
