Another stark difference between Performers and Coordinators is their ranking systems, as there can be only one Kalos Queen at a time, whereas several winners can share the Top Coordinator title. Nevertheless, trainers dedicated toPokemonContests also need to exercise their performance talents, as major events often add entertainment segments to their competitions.
8Chloe And Eevee – Pokemon Journeys
Chloe and Eevee have only just begun theirPokemonPerformance journey and have to practice their skills more frequently to overcome the nerves and anxiety. Regardless, Eevee has certainly taken a liking to all the theatrics and this daring duo has made their mark inPokemon Journeysas potentially the next great performers.
WhileChloe and Eevee’s debut showcaseis not exceptionally elaborate, Eevee deserves some special praise for utilizing Fairy Dust so well, only having just learned it from Slyveon earlier that day. The girls' enthusiasm is so infectious that even Goh and Ash are eager to give performing a shot under the big top in “Pokemon Circus! Booster and Thunders!!” (with comical consequences, to say the least!)
7Shauna, Ivysaur and Flabebe – Pokemon XY
Shauna put her first routine on display in"Performing a Pathway to the Future!" when she boldly entered theCoumarine City Rookie Class Contestwith Serena by her side. Shauna and Ivysaur dominated the beautification portion of the competition before effortlessly taking to the stage in the freestyle segment with a spectacular collaborative effort.
Fairy Wind and Petal Dance combine beautifully to add a sparkling fuchsia hue to the stage, while Shauna shows off her rhythmic gymnastics skills with a matching pink ribbon in tow. As an adorable final touch, Ivysaur makes an enormous heart with its vines, hoisting Flabebe into the air in the process, and subsequently earning the team their first ever Princess Key.
6Ursula And The Eevee Twins – Pokemon Diamond & Pearl
While Ursula may not be the most likable character, she certainly made an impression during the performance stages of the Sinnoh Grand Festival.As if having two Eeveeson stage isn’t impressive enough, Dawn’s rival took the initiative to have her twin furballs evolve mid-competition, with the help of a handy set of Fire and Water Stones.
The audience goes wild as Vaporeon and Flareon glide across the stage followed by corresponding sparkling elemental orbs in their wake. However, this memorable occasion is a once-off spectacle, and is unlikely to be replicated, as Ursula’s energy should be reserved for her newfound Fire and Water Type Eeevelutions.
5Jessilee, Meowth, And Gourgeist – Pokemon XYZ
A disguisedJessileetakes a break fromher Team Rocket dutiesto show off her hidden talents as a Performer during the epic Master Class Tournament. After making it all the way through to the Semi-Finals (along with Serena and Shauna) Jessie shows off her green thumb by prioritizing her Gourgeist’s Grass-Type moves in a spectacularly dramatic showcase during “Performing a Pathway to the Future!”

The magnificent villainess is raised in all her glory upon a mile-high pedestal made of vines while Seed Bomb fireworks erupted around her. The extravagantly dressed Meowth prances across the stage for some added flare before ending things off with some Fury Swipe-induced sparkles. True to form, however, Jessie is more concerned with showing off her own beauty than that of her Pokemon, but surprisingly bows out graciously when Serena is victorious.
4Zoey, Gastrodon, And Lumineon – Pokemon Diamond & Pearl
The lovable Zoey acts more like Dawn’s ally than rival during the girls' joint ventures inPokemonContests; but after having already won three major competitions, Zoey has a lot of wisdom to share! For the Sinnoh Grand Festival, Zoey decides toshowcase her Water-TypePokemonand stands out from the crowd with her successfully executed aquatic-based routine.
After the Grand Stage reveals a pool from within, Lumineon’s Aqua Rings are elegantly dispersed by Gastrodon Water Pulse, resulting in a glittering shower of droplets trickling through the air. After Lumineon and Gastrodon show off their acrobatic skills, they form three sky-high water tornados which elevate them and their Trainer towards the heavens. Zoey’s performance along with her success in the Contest round earned this redhead the Champion title.
3Aria And Braixen – Pokemon XY
This reigning Kalos Queen has emerged victorious from multiplePokemonShowcases, however, her first appearance in"Dreaming a Performer’s Dream!" was a game-changer. Aria’s pyrotechnic-themed routine perfectly utilizes Braixen’sFire-Type moves theatrically and elegantlyas they mesmerize the crowd during the Lagoon TownPokemonShowcase.
The pair collaborate perfectly by tossing Braixen’s flaming stick between themselves, gracefully twirling it like a baton as they go. After an intricately woven flaming curtain falls to the floor, the grand finale is topped off with an ornate Fire Blast and dazzles the crowd with a passionate performance that inspired Serena to take up the craft herself.
2Dawn, Cyndaquil, And Buneary – Pokemon Diamond & Pearl
WhileDawn is best known for her aspirationsof becoming aPokemonCoordinator, she has to adequately employ her performance talents during a select few Contests along the way. The Grand Festival is Dawn’s most memorable moment on stage as herPokemonmake a long-lasting impression by combining fire and ice for a sensational effect.

To start things off, Cyndaquil and Buneary theatrically emerge from their Pokeballs, creating a massive illuminated bow-shaped illusion out of thin air. Dawn makes sure to utilize the entire stage as her as Buneary’s Ice Beam crafts gleaming frosty sculptures before Cyndaquil uses Flame Wheel to initiate a joyride on the frozen rollercoaster. ThePokemons' joy is utterly contagious as they seem to be having the time of their lives before they shock fans with an epic smoke screen, revealing a flame-wing capped icicle sphere encapsulating the incredibly cute Buneary in its core.
1Serena, Sylveon, Delphox, And Pancham – Pokemon Journeys
Serena has also supplied the fandom with a significant list of memorable performances over the years, buther contribution toPokemon Journeysis arguably the most spectacular occasion. During her highly anticipated return, Serena takes Chloe under her wing to show her the ropes of Pokemon Performance while Slyveon teaches Eevee some valuable tricks.
Serena’s Braixen has since evolved into a Delphox, and the collaborative efforts of her Pokemon are just as spectacular as ever. Her entrance is announced by raining contrasting-colored rings and stars upon the audience, sending out some strong K-Pop vibes (particularly when assessing her stylish outfit choice!) A glittering flame-and-ice sculpture ends off her showcase with a bang as Serena steals the show as the unofficial best performance of the day.
