Because of this, it feels like a good idea to update this article to feature some of the newest weapons that players can get their hands on. As a whole, automatic weapon builds are among the most popular builds in the game. Being able to hit enemies multiple times in quick succession is not only great for killing enemies quickly, but, in certain situations, it can help to gain the player extra XP.

There were several weapons added to the game with the Skyline Valley update, one of which wasthe V-63 BERTHA. This weapon is one of the rewards that players can receive for completing the event Dangerous Pastimes. Unfortunately, it can’t be re-rolled for new legendary effects. However, its default effects are actually surprisingly powerful.
First,the weapon has double the ammo capacity of the standard Tesla Rifle.This makes it great for events like Radiation Rumble, where tagging as many enemies for XP is important. Second, it is a very fast-firing weapon. It fires 25% faster than a standard Tesla Rifle. While its primary effect isn’t that great (two-shot), it is still a pretty powerful weapon. While most high-level players won’t be interested in using the V-63 BERTHA, it can be a great weapon for low and mid-level players who want something quick and easy to use.

The Radium Rifle is exactly what it sounds like. It is a rifle that fires radioactive bullets. So, not only do players do a decent amount of damage with this weapon, but they also do extra damage with radiation.
This weapon can’t be used until a player hits level 40. Players can find the plan for this weapon by searching enemy bodies and containers and completing quests. There is also a chance for vendors to have this weapon plan in their inventory.
The fast fire rate of this gun, coupled with its radiation damage, makes itone of the best automatic weapons out there for taking down enemies, both big and small.

Similar to the last entry, this weapon was added in with the Once in a Blue Moon update. Players have the chance of being awarded this weapon upon completing the Beasts of Burden event.It does slightly more damage than a standard flamer,and it comes with the following effects attached to it.
Just like the Elder’s Mark, this weapon’s legendary effects can be re-rolled, which gives players the chance to get an even better version of the Holy Fire. The level requirements are slightly higher than the previous entry. Players can only start using the Holy Fire after hitting level 30.

TheEnclave Plasma Gun is slightly more powerful than the regular plasma gun. And, with the right mods, this weapon can take out anything that gets in its way. It has a couple of different automatic mod attachments, including a flamer mod. However, these mods can be tricky to get hold of. Players can either try their luck at the Watoga vendors, with the vendor in Berkley Springs, or by buying mods from other players.
The gun itself can’t be crafted, nor can most of the mods. Players can buy Enclave Plasma Guns fromMODUS in the Whitespring Bunker. This weapon is very popular among high-level players due to its high damage and fast-firing ability. Also, with the right combination of legendary effects, an Enclave Plasma Gun can be very valuable.

While not as powerful as the Auto Axe, the Chainsaw ranks higher because it’s tradable and easier to obtain. Players can find the Chainsaw while out exploring Appalachia, either in certain locations or as event rewards. This weapon is particularly useful with the Vampire’s effect, as it allows players to kill enemies without taking any damage.
There are lots of players whose builds are centered around the Chainsaw. This weapon is ideal for hard-hitting enemies as it cuts through them with ease. A Chainsaw with desirable effects can be worth a small fortune. It’s a weapon that is worth tryingout as it works well for players of all levels.

The Elder’s Mark was introduced intoFallout 76with the Once in a Blue Moon update. Players have a chance at getting this weapon by completing the event, Beasts of Burden. It comes as a legendary weapon with the following effects attached.
This weapon can be rolled by players. This means that the legendary effects aren’t stuck to this weapon. They can be changed. With a little bit of luck and a lot of legendary modules, players can getan Elder’s Mark with incredible legendary effects.
The standard version can still be pretty effective against most enemies. It can be used by players level 15 and up, making it very popular among newer players.
