Isonzois a first-person shooter game that was based onthe two-year battle for the Isonzo river valleythat took place during World War I. This game is rather unique in that case, in that it was based on a battle that not many people have dealt with before.

Many people may take toIsonzoalmost immediately and be able to enjoy first-person shooter games, while there are other people who stumble a bit. There are some beginner tips for players to know before playing the game.
7Do Not Stray Too Far
There are going to be multiple players on a map at any given point. This is just how first-person shooters work, especially in the gameIsonzo. Each team will have 24 players, meaning that a player will usually havesomeoneby their side.
However, they may end up being a few moments where a player ends up isolated. It would be a good idea to get back to the group as soon as possible because going alone is a good way for a player to get shot and killed in the middle of nowhere.
6Stick To One Class And Perfect It
There are multiple classes that a player could choose to play as in the gameIsonzo, and it may seem like a good idea at first to play throughas many classes as possibleto become a jack of all trades. However, this is actually the opposite of the truth.

InIsonzo, a player will want to pick one class and stick to it. It may take a bit of exploring to figure out what class they want to play, but it will be worth it, as a player will have enough time to become fully skilled in their class.
5Understand The Leveling System
Surprisingly,Isonzohas a way for a player to level up in-game. However, it is somewhat different from the traditional leveling up in other games - a player will have to level up a specific role and complete special tasks to upgrade themselves.
For example, a player will have to get a specific amount of kills with one particular weapon in order to unlock a better version of that weapon. It is not “play more to get better,” but rather “complete specific missions to improve what is already given.”
4Shoot Anyone Not On The Team
This one is generally considered to be “open knowledge,” but there are still many people who do not follow this basic logic.A player must always defend themselvesand the team. First things first - this means blasting anyone who is not on the team.

This is one of the simplest ways to keep the team safe. Simply looking out for the player’s own team, while shooting any enemies that come near will do a lot in the long run for a player.
3Be A Team Player
While it can be enough to just look out for the team and shoot anyone in the way, there are other ways to be a team player that does not follow this specific playstyle, but also very much benefits the team. It pays off to be a team player.
As long as a player helps out the team, they will have a much better time gathering up experience and doing everything their class is supposed to do. This can be healing, launching grenades, or other tasks that appeal to the quests a player needs to level up.
2Keep People In The MG Nests
There are machine guns planted all around the map, to be as accurate as possible to World War I. As such,it has been figured out that using these machine gun nests(otherwise known as MG nests) in the gameIsonzowill net players some really quick kills.
It is always useful to have someone in the MG Nests because of this. By always keeping someone in the MG Nests, there will always be somebody that will be waiting for a lone enemy to wander by, and therefore shoot them down as quickly as possible to get a quick (if not cheap) kill.
1Always Use Machine Guns
Even if there is no one constantly on guard in the MG Nests, that is okay - a player can still have a really good chance if they use the MG nests. Machine Guns have a very long range in the game, and players can snipe someone down from far away.
As such, a player should always remember to use any MG nest they come across. Even if they donot have someone perpetually on it(and therefore always keeping on guard), it can still be used if a player is in a pinch and needs to kill a particular enemy chasing them down.
Isonzois available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Microsoft Windows, and Linux.
