According to Henderson, he is “not sure” about this rumor, as the reveal footage for the game apparently takes place on a desert island. This is an interesting turn of events, as it goes against what fans have believed for some time now. Further, the use of a single location implies that the trailer will only be showing off a small portion of the game.
As for what this desert island will entail, niqen makes the fine point that it will likely be large in scale. With massive maps rumored andBattlefield 6’s larger player countreferenced by EA, this adds up. Players can expect some new destruction as well, with a mixture of first-person footage and cinematic shots likely based on otherBattlefieldtrailers. As for where this island can be located, players seem to have no idea, as Henderson was not specific about any details and landmarks of the map apart from its distinct island style.
