In this adventure, Astro will gain all sorts of abilities and power-ups to take on the enemies he runs into across the universe. A tweet from Genki_JPN showed the back ofAstro Bot’s physical box, which has a blurb that says players will require 66 GB of space. Whencompared toAstro Playroomand its file size, that is a substantial size increase. Astro Bot’s File Size
WhileAstro Bot’s file size is much larger thanPlayroom’s, that doesn’t necessarily equate to the game’s length or amount of content. That said, it does highlight howAstro Bot’s scope is more ambitious than the previous game, with it featuring more than 50 planets that are split across six galaxies, with 80 levels in total to play through. In comparison,Astro’s Playroomhas five worlds themed after components of the PS5 console.
Astro Botis also set to feature 150 different PlayStation character cameosin the form of several robots being dressed up in different costumes, with the reveal trailer showing robots based on Kratos, Aloy, and Nathan Drake, just to name a few. This game is looking to be an ambitious platformer that puts Astro in the spotlight and will contain plenty of references to PlayStation’s entire library.
