After completing Glory Regained in the Grantebridgescire arc inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, players have the option to pursue any of three quests. These are each aimed at getting to know the three advisors of Soma, the Viking ruler of Grantebridge.
One of these, Unholy Father, aligns players with Lif, the shipbuilding advisor. This quest requires a mixture of investigation and stealth as players work alongside Lif. For those players looking to complete this quest inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, this guide is here to help.

Where to Start Unholy Father?
These three advisors are scattered around Grantebridgescire and those looking for Lif need to head south to Walden. This small city is on the border of this area and Essexe, one of the moresouthern regions in England. Once players get close to the southern border of Walden they will encounter a small encampment of Vikings including Lif.
Interacting with him prompts a conversation that fortunately doesn’t include any ofthe important choices inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. Instead, it gives players the chance to learn more about Lif’s allegiances and how he came to support Soma. There is only a need to ask one question before the quest can be started.
Where is the Priest in Walden?
With dialogue done, players can watch as the Viking force begins their assault on Walden. As the attack begins, playersshould turn to Eivor’s ravento get a better view of the area. The goal is to work Eivor and Lif through the city without having to be dragged into combat. One of the possible paths for this is to climb up and over the southern wall and stick to the right. Players can head behind the building and around until they encounter the second line of defense.
This secondary wall can be climbed with a ladder close to its center. From the guard tower, players can jump into a haystack and work their way into the long grass to the left of the church. Instead of entering the building through the open door and possibly attracting unwanted attention, players can work their way around the back of the church and kill the guard here. He should be equipped with the key to the back of the church.
The target should be in the back of the church and by the altar and killing him will prompt the final portion of the mission where players need only escape. Before doing so, there is aBook of Knowlege inside the churchnear where the Priest can be found. After this, players need only escape (which can be done by using the zip line in this back section of Walden) and speak with Lif again to end this mission.
