Set in the time between the end of the originalStar Warstrilogy and the beginning of the Sequels,The Mandaloriantells the story of Din Djarin, a masked Mandalorian warrior who uncovers a mysterious child with Force abilities during his travels across the galaxy. Both Din and his adorable infant ward Grogu became overnight fan favorites as soon as they debuted on Disney+ in 2019, and the former has even been included as aplayable character in games likeFortniteandLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.Naturally, manyStar Warsfans have been left wishing for a standaloneMandaloriangame, one that could explore Din’s life as a bounty hunter before meeting Grogu in the style of triple-A RPG titles likeThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Last year, rumors began to circulateabout aMandalorian-centric MMOfromThe Elder Scrolls Onlinedeveloper ZeniMax Online Studios, and while there hasn’t been any kind of official confirmation about it since it has spawned plenty of impressive mock-ups andMandaloriangame box covers.RELATED:Valheim Player Creates Incredible Razor Crest From The MandalorianGav, a Twitter user and UI technical artist forStar Wars: Battlefrontdeveloper EA DICE, recently shared their mock-up and concept pitch for a hypotheticalMandalorianvideo game. Subtitled “Way of the Warrior,” this mock-up includes a screenshot of Din Djarin exploring a new desert planet called Zerona and a would-be character customization screen where players could select new helmets and armor for the mercenary to wear on his travels. While fans will have to wait to see ifthe rumoredMandaloriangameis real, there are plenty of other excitingStar Warstitles on the horizon. Meanwhile,Star Wars Jedi: Survivordeveloper Respawn is working on a new FPS title that is said to draw inspiration from pastStar Warsshooters likeDark Forces.

These all sound promising, but there are still plenty of fans who would like to step behind the visor of Din Djarin, or at least playthrough key events like the Purge of Mandalorein a blockbuster video game.
