After weeks of build-up, it’s almost time for Season 12 ofApex Legendsto release. With the launch of this new update, the developers at Respawn Entertainment are adding a bunch of new content for players to check out, such as a revamped Olympus map and a new Legend, Mad Maggie. In addition, the game is receiving anexciting 9v9 LTM known as Control. In addition to these features, players learned even more details about the cosmetics included in the upcoming season.
Recently, a new trailer was released for Season 12 ofApex Legends. In the video, fans received a look at some of the cosmetics coming in the seasonal Battle Pass for the battle royale. While the developer chose not to show all the tiers of available content, what was seen was quite impressive. Among the unlockable items, some of the most noteworthy additions were Legendary skins for Loba and Seer. However, they were not the only ones to get a new look in the upcoming season, as Epic skins for Crypto, Lifeline, and Ashe were revealed as well. There were even a number of themed cosmetics, including banners and weapon charms, included to compliments these skins.

Besides this collection of new skins,the developers at Respawnunveiled many more items coming in the Battle Pass, such as new reactive gun skins for the Hemlock. In addition, the trailer for the Battle Pass revealed that a number of Holosprays and Emotes were being added as well. Characters getting a new spray include Wattson, Lifeline, Horizon, Ashe, Octane, and Crypto. Furthermore, players learned that several free rewards will be available to collect regardless of whether the premium version of the Battle Pass was purchased. These free items included weapon skins, music packs, Apex Coins, load screens, and even an Octane skin.
If these new cosmetics were not enough, Respawn revealed last week that even more skins were coming to the game in Season 12 via the Anniversary Collection event. To celebrate 3 years ofApex Legends, the developer plans to include several cosmetics for players to unlock. Among the skins already shown off wasthe Prestige Bloodhound skin, meant to replace the new heirloom typically associated with the Collection events.
This news regarding cosmetics forApex Legendsis doubtlessly exciting for many fans that have waited for a new season for the battle royale. For those interested in getting the Defiance Battle Pass, it can be purchased for 950 Apex Coins (around $10) when it becomes available with thestart of Season 12on February 8.
