Starting off the list of adorable elephant villagers inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons isthe jock villagerAxel. He made his debut appearance in the franchise inAnimal Forestand has since been a villager in every mainlineAnimal Crossinggame, with the exception ofAnimal Crossing: Wild World.Axel’s name is derived from a part in a vehicle, which matches his jock personality who is into fitness and cars. Axel’s character design features a dark blue skin tone and paintbrush-tipped tail.

Big Top

Next on the list isthe lazy elephant villagerBig Top, who has appeared in every mainlineAnimal Crossinggame. His name is a reference to the main arena of a circus, which is called a big top, where elephants are mainly situated. Due to his lazy personality, Big Top is easy to befriend and will be nice towards the player and other villagers on the island. However, due to differences in lifestyle choices, lazy villagers have the tendency to get into conflict with jock villagers.

Cyd

Unlike Axel and Big Top, Cyd isa new villager that was first introduced inAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsbefore heading to the mobile game,Pocket Camp. His overall appearance sports a red skin tone and a purple mohawk that represents his rebel side. He is also under the cranky personality, which means that he is difficult to befriend and will get angry with anyone who disagrees with what he has to say.

Dizzy

Next is Dizzy who is another lazy elephant villagers inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons.Interestingly enough, Dizzy is a veteranAnimal Crossingvillager and has since appeared in all games from the popular social simulator franchise. His overall character design features a gray and white color scheme and due to his lazy personality, conversations with him would mostly revolve around leisure activities and food. Although he is generally a nice villager, he may find it difficult to mix with jock villagers, due to their active personality.

Ellie

Next on the list is the adorable normal elephant villager Ellie, who first appeared in the firstAnimal Crossinggame. Her character design sports a milk chocolate brown color scheme with black pie-eyes. Of course, given her normal personality, Ellie is good-natured and will never say anything rude to the player and other villagers. Moreover, she mixes well withmostAC:NHpersonality typesbut may come in conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers.

Eloise

Eloise is the snooty elephant villager thata lot of players love to hate. Although her appearance makes it seem that she is nice and friendly, her snooty personality makes her appear cold and distant, especially before the player befriends her. Moreover, Eloise is known for her harsh and rude comments, and she will be spending some of her time spreading rumors and gossiping about other villagers.

Similar to Ellie, Margie is generally nice to the player and villagers and is easy to befriend. Interestingly enough, Margie also appeared in the movieDobutsu no Morior is also known asAnimal Crossing: The Movie in English. Margie’s role in the film is an aspiring fashion designer who is also the friend of Ai, the movie’s protagonist.

Opal

Opal is another snooty elephant villager inAC: New Horizons, and she has appeared in most games in the franchise. Opal sports a green skin tone and her smile is often described as mischievous, which matches her snooty personality. Similar to other villagers with the same personality, Opal is difficult to befriend,may say rude remarks, and is obsessed with fashion and physical appearance, often criticizing villagers for their outfit choices. Nonetheless, Opal will get along with most personalities except jock villagers.

Paolo

The thirdlazy elephant villagerin this list is Paolo, who has appeared in most mainlineAnimal Crossinggames. Due to her normal personality, Tia would get along with everyone apart from cranky and sisterly villagers.

Tucker

Last on the list is Tucker, and similar to Tia, he appears to be also based on a mammoth than an elephant. Interestingly enough, Tucker also has a lazy personality, making him the fourth lazy elephant villager inAC: New Horizons.His character design makes him appear like a wooly mammoth with a brown color scheme and huge tusks. Similar to other lazy villagers, Tucker loves talking about food and relaxation, and will not get along with jock villagers due to the obvious differences in lifestyle.
