Redditor Onepiecefeed recently shared a video of their villagers working out in the town square. It’s a common sight for many players, asAnimal Crossingvillagers will casually gatherto do things like stretch, perform yoga, or lift weights. In this case, three villagers were lined up to lift, but it quickly becomes clear that one of them is having a much easier time of it than his companions.

The goat villager Billy can be seen lifting their barbell with ease, doing so 11 times over the span of the recording. Meanwhile, his companions Erik and Hornsby, a deer and rhino respectively, genuinely seem to struggle, with Hornsby managing two lifts, while Erik focuses on catching his breath. What seems to be the main difference between these villagers is that Billy is ajock villager, while the other two are classified as lazy villagers. It seems the lazy villagers aren’t very familiar with working out, whereas the jock villager has probably been lifting regularly outside of this little town square gathering.

Players who have also witnessed similar activities on their islands pointed out that this isn’t the only fitness thing unique to jock villagers. Jock villagers can be seen lifting larger weights on their own, whereas villagers who aren’t as eager about fitness and gains will only use the smaller weights when participating in a workout outside of a group.
