Popular and often controversialTwitchstreamer Amouranth is teasing plans for a “big” new show on Twitch for 2023 that’s something akin to a game show. DespiteAmouranth’s popularity, making her easily the most-watched woman on the platform, controversy surrounding explicit content has kept her from fully focusing on Twitch over other opportunities. Looking forward, however, Amouranth appears to believe 2023 might be the year she steps up her Twitch presence.
Over the past several years, Amouranth has had a rocky relationship with Twitch. She has had five total bans from the platform, all between September 2019 and October 2021. None of her bans have been longer than a few days, and the reasons for her bans have been somewhat ambiguous. Since then, she’s taken steps to stay within Twitch’s rules and the result has been lucrative, to say the least.Amouranth also recently ended an abusive relationship, which she’s said will allow her to do other interesting types of content.

Speaking recently on the 100 Thieves Podcast, Amouranth was asked what her plans were looking toward 2023. Amouranth at first pulls back, questioning whether or not she should reveal anything about what she’s working on. Eventually, she does share a brief idea of something exciting for her fans to look forward to. Amouranth says that she is working on some “big"shows for Twitch, though it’s unclear if she means multiple different shows or multiple episodes of a single style of show.
While she doesn’t provide much in terms of specific information about her planned Twitch shows, she does provide a general idea of what one will be. She describes it as “game showy, but in-person,” perhaps implying it’ll be like the recent wave of online interviews and Twitch dating game shows. Instead of staying online, she’ll make it in-person. The show, she says, would be hosted by herself.
The only other detail that Amouranth provides is that the show she’s working on is unlike anything else that has been done on Twitch before. That certainly doesn’t narrow things down, but it probably means it won’t be a basic quiz show.Fans of Amouranthand Twitch game shows will have to use their imaginations.
