Castlevaniafans currently have a lot to look forward to, from the announcement that Netflix’s anime adaptation of the franchise will be getting a new spin-off toCastlevaniaproducer Koji Igarashi confirming a sequel to his spiritual successor to the series,Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night,is in production. It seems there could be one more thing to add to that list, with a new rating seemingly leaking the existence of a “Castlevania Advance Collection.”
The listing comes from the Australian Classification Board, with the rating claiming it’ll be “multiplatform” and published by Konami. Although there’s no direct confirmation, the bundle’s title seems to imply it will contain the trio ofCastlevaniagames that wound up on the GameBoy Advance, those beingCircle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, andAria of Sorrow.

Circle of the Moonlaunched on the handheld system in 2001, focusing on a new protagonist known as Nathan Graves. As expected for aCastlevaniagame, it tasked players with exploring a large, monster-infested castle in an effort to find and defeat Dracula, who killed Graves' parents.Harmony of Dissonancetook the reins fromCircle of The Moonjust one year later, following Juste Belmont, the grandson of original theCastlevaniaprotagonist, Simon Belmont. The sequel sees players navigate Dracula’s castle while battling against a range of dark forces.
Aria of Sorrowclosed out the trilogy in 2003, slotting players into the shoes of a new protagonist by the name of Soma Cruz. Taking place in 2035, it transported players to Dracula’s castle once again, although it offered a very different interpretation of the iconicCastlevaniasetting. The events ofAria of Sorrowand its popularNintendo DS sequel,Dawn of Sorrow, occur right at the end of the franchise’s long-spanning timeline, which stretches all the way back to 1094.
All three games definitely have their fans, so it’ll be interesting to see how this potentialCastlevania Advance Collectionrepackages them for modern hardware. In the meantime, players will be able to get their hands on a ton of remastered classics later this year, withDiablo 2: Resurrectedbringing back the iconic RPG and theFinal Fantasy Pixel Remasterseries allowing players to jump into the first six iterations of the seminal JRPG franchise. There’s evena remake of the first twoAdvance Warsgames coming to Nintendo Switch, rebuilding the classic GameBoy Advance games from the ground up with new visuals and gameplay. The bundle will launch this December and is definitely one to watch for nostalgic GameBoy enthusiasts.
